I’m sure threads about his have been made before and I’m sure I myself have made them before, but I also feel it still hasn’t really been addressed.
The Test Your Team part in the PvP menu screen doesn’t seem very up to snuff. That is to say, it feels lackluster. Compared to actual PvP, regardless of the numbers matching up, it feels much easier to defeat monsters in Test Your Team than in other areas. Not only do my own monsters feel stronger and enemy monsters feel weaker and do less damage, but the AI of Test Your Team seems really underwhelming too. Obviously I don’t expect it to reflect competent players, but even teams in the games Hell Modes, DC, and other events seem much more capable in the decisions they make than the Test Your Team area. An easy example would be AI teams Djinzar (the red Genie) using Bloodfury over and over again without having a kill not using any of its other moves. Ogremaster and Mantiferno using Purifying Stealth (for no reason) and RAW Mark when they have clear targets for Headhunter and Man-Eater respectively.
I feel that giving the AI a tune up for Test Your Team would be very helpful, and if not, the ability at least to build the team you are testing against to see how you fair up.
Want to test against Sea World? You can do it.
Novadrake FL? You can do it.
Charybdis and Prixis FL? You can do it.
If not that, maybe the Devs would allow forum users to create teams for TYT and vote on the ones put in to ACTUALLY test against Meta Relevant teams because as it stands, aside from sometimes having a FD or GF starting lineup, the teams feel very random.
Please consider @Dev_VKC and anyone else that has an opinion on these or ideas to implement. @Killerdog always seems to have good ways to implement game mechanics and the voices in the forum should be heard.
