Is it possible to submit a monster idea for neo monsters? I have an old monster drawing I did for a pokemon competition (in hindsight it was probably more suited to something like this but a rip off of a current pokemon won the competition ¬¬).
This monster might fit well with neo monsters style of monsters.

Yes, absolutely. The developers are open to everyone’s suggestions for the game, although they are of course very careful about which ones they take. Though far as I know, only one submission of an original monster idea has been submitted so far, yours being the second. Not really sure how open they are about monster design ideas, but seems like it’s worth a shot. You can just put it in the suggestion box thread.

Would it be possible for me to contact them directly? I kind of want to keep the monster a secret for now in case they do say yes. I will say it is a hybrid monster though.

Not sure what to make of it. I would’ve thought a new monster would be something they’d be interested in.
Automatic response most likely. They did read it though and they will take it seriously.
You could consider putting it in the fanart gallery as well as a concept. If it gets a lot of good reactions from the players, it could be more interesting for devs as well. Only downside is that it won’t stay a secret that way…
Well I would say fanart means specifically neo monsters. I don’t know. I’ll think about it.
A monster ideas thread might be fun, though we’d need to make sure it’s like an official contest or something so we can lay out some ground rules.
A fan art gallery sounds like fun, too!
We actually have a fan art gallery. It’s under the social tab up top. Fredator does some cool stuff.
How about for a contest: the winner gets their monster and it gets implemented in a type of egg of their choice, whether it be a festival, special, or one where you get some other kind of interesting effect added to the egg. (within reason, no"all hatches are legends" stuff).
How soon is the update if you don’t mind me asking? Like, “very soon”, “soon”, or “coming soon”. . . ?
I personally wouldn’t like a competition as there will always be better artists who will be most likely to win. I know my drawing days are over and even when I could do ok it would look awful against other people’s art.

Well moveset makes more sense. But you did say designing a monster so it seemed different.
New skills/movesets is something most people can do without feeling like they’re no good at something.
There are at least 30000 people playing this game. There are maybe 5-10 people designing monsters right now. If they could take a small fraction of those people and get them to come up with a moveset or two then think of all the different types of monsters we would get.
I imagined a new monster with new moves. I also thought about how he could look. Go check it out on the thread Monster skill/ suggestion box. It is one of the latest posts. Tell me your thoughts if you want. I think it is cool
