To be honest, this isn’t a skin system, it’s a failed attempt to hide the NSFW filter behind a currency system.

The same senseless idea as to put the extension of the training-point limit behind the 6 Star ticket currency.

No good job in implementing this one devs, where the artwork and idea is actually very great.

Love it! Hopefully they will release more and more waifu skins (and maybe for others too), starting with the most over-the-top ones. Charybdia was a good first choice, IMO.

Despite differing opinions, this is incredible. Even though obtaining new monster skins requires payment, it’s not pay-to-win, as it doesn’t give any player an advantage over others in PvP or PvE. Skin payments are something that happens in most games. @Dev_VKC

I hope they will just include this new currency in some special events or login rewards for the F2P player base, giving them a limited way to obtain it and get skins for their favorite waifus. From what I saw, the prices for the deals were reasonable—on the cheaper side compared to their regular deals.

I hope so.

They could give players the option to exchange 1 seven-star ticket for 10 style orbs, requiring 8 tickets to obtain the censored Mythic.

I really didn’t like that the first impressions were purely P2W, especially when they know that nobody really cares about their monsters looking good — people just wanted an SFW filter.

Personally, I wouldn’t like them to add that item to events or anything like that. I’d rather F2P players be able to obtain it through exchanges using items that are already in the game and have other functions.

Nobody would do so. Way too expensive.

I know, but that’s better than it being a purely P2W monster. Free players should be able to obtain everything in the game, even if it takes a long time.

The same goes for Boxchomp: they could offer it at absurdly high prices in tickets, but at least make it obtainable for free players.

1 seven-star ticket for 20 style orbs

You have to convert an awakend mythic into orbs!

1 mythic sacrificed = 1 skin gained

Boxchomp should be featured with Awakened Pandora - same as Agent M gets her minions while you hatch her copies.

Then they can swap that VIP reward with some special Rockoid or something.

I hope I can exchange these outfits for gold tickets. This is great anyway. I hope the developers can make it easier for F2P players. They should also have some way to earn these outfits. There are plenty of gold tickets left (I suggest 80 tickets for 1 skin).

I’m not against this, it’s super cool, what I don’t like is the excessive change they made to Charybdia’s art style. That purple dress just ruins the design. The first two forms are they pretty, the awakened form is awful,… I prefer to use her showing everything :wilted_flower:

I also thought that exchanging 6★ tickets could be an option, but since orbs are currently a P2W item, I didn’t suggest that idea. In any case, many people have already bought orbs, and some might be upset by a new exchange like that. Besides, the developers could have done everything with 6★ tickets from the start, but they didn’t.

i mean considering the fact that charybdia with skin and charybdia without skin is seperate monsters and you can own both versions now. it does make sense to me atleast, to sacrifice the old charybdia for the new charybdia

they finally add the thing i want and i have to go through the whole rigamarole just to see less boobs? really?

I think this system is interesting. My request is that newly released waifu monsters be less revealing. And if the developers want to release a style that is more revealing, I would like them to release it with this system. This will please users like me who don’t like exposure.

Sadly, it will be the other way around. But for example, this new waifu is cool-looking without making her so explicit. So they can, if they want to, make them decent and not borderline pornographic.

The developers will probably try to create a Mythic with good abilities and without sexualizing it, and later they’ll create a new sexualized design. If the Mythic sells well, they might try to keep making more.

Right now, if a Mythic is highly sexualized and has good abilities, it’s like a 2-for-1 sale: players want it for its abilities, and other players like its design, boosting sales. If they manage to increase sales by adding a paid sexualized design, it becomes like a 3-for-2 sale, giving the company even more m$ney.

But it’s likely they’ll continue making sexualized designs as they have so far, to keep some players happy.

Personally, I don’t care if the designs are sexualized or not — the only thing I don’t want is for them to sell us a design made by AI.

I think it’s unnecessary for the forum to ban the word “møney”. What does the company gain? Cookies?
