Should waifu get dual monster types?

So Maneater gets weakened by it if Humanoid type is getting removed from some myths?

It will have both advantages and disadvantages. In my opinion, waifus with less fabric should keep their human type. As for mythics with more fabric and skills related to other types, change their type.for example Bry, Azida

Let’s wait and see. Currently the only viable Bird Union combo was Plume into Soral.

Many non-waifu humanoid monsters are underwhelming. The notable exceptions are probably Yukihime, Harleking, Brynhildr, and maybe Sepheris. You can see this as a buff for them.

He will be a Phantom type. On top of that, he’s way too powerful, so we’ll need to slightly nerf him in the next update as well.

We got enough of humanoids so it will probably not change too much

GREAT so we are never getting hot men…

Well, more like god/goddess type.
Hot men can still be humanoid.

Can we get a player icon for tombguard :folded_hands:

Ninjastorm seggsy

For beast i can’t really see there being too much of an issue. Beast types are common but the majority aren’t particularly strong with a few notable exceptions. Shikabloom is the only one that could be too powerful however by today’s standards and power creep i think he will be fine.

Bug - im assuming you are referring to vespia here? Well honestly bug has been growing as a strong type over the last few years however of those you mentioned only really calamitas is problematic. And he really needs CWs to work. Beetlebrute is one of my favourite monsters so im a little bit biased but i think he is an example of a well balanced legendary. Mantisamurai isnt as prevalent as it used to be since its speed nerf and can’t really see that changing.

Birbs. Tbh they could use a bit more support anyway to activate the unions. Soral is the one to keep an eye on.

Yeah, Vespia and Atlanachia are cool and should definetely get more action.

Can’t wait also for some proper Ophi setups with Rozaliz and Orochi being a great support.

@Dev_VKC do you also plan on adding union skills to mythics or will just give them secondary typing?

Thank you!!!

I’ve used Shikabloom a lot. It’s a great monster but mythics in the last 1-2 years have made it much less of a standout. The high defence matters much less and it’s slow enough that it feels very fair and balanced.

Rodeknight is a big union payoff, probably the best. It will be stronger but also balanced I think. It hasn’t got any unfair or controlling mechanic.

For bugs we’ve already had a bunch of setups be played and they’re strong but not oppressive.

I don’t think there’s anything to worry about with birds. They have very little synergy between them and honestly need more support.

Generally speaking, I think people will find it refreshing to see union teams become more of a thing. There are also monsters like Rodeknight and Vespia that don’t see much play at the moment but are now more likely to.

The great thing about designing synergistic archetypes is that if one gets too strong then you can weaken the archetype as a whole by tweaking one monster. It’s not like when you have the best PvP teams being filled with “good stuff” and weakening them requires nerfing lots of monsters. So I don’t think there’s much to worry about.

Let’s go! This will keep things fresh, and I actually think it’ll eliminate a lot of the gripes with the current meta.

Also Ophi might FINALLY get some more friends :raising_hands:

Nothing will change. Ophi needs speed buff and low tu to be fair. Such a cool mons but as compared with another bug legendary(fire one) ophi seems a little weak. Ophi needs LOVE…

Maybe having all reptile teammates should lower TU to 50% :eyes:
