There are the “true” shop only legendaries which are: Atra, Dusicyon, Flocculasaurus, A S. Poseidon, Hanzowolf and Goldtail. Those don’t feature in normal eggs.
Later they added a bunch like Ankou, Lavaronix, Emeraldeus etc. which they also called “shop only”. Apparently they can also feature in eggs.

kind of weird calling them ‘shop only’ then right? but I’ve noticed that before with some other monsters like Ventokaizer that I own without having bought them even though they claim ‘shop only’…
Ventokaizer is a weird one as it’s a guaranteed monster for new players now, it’s part of a newcomer login or quest. It used to be in the eggs too
The truth is that Ankou, Lavaronix , Emeraldeus , etc were never “shop only “ cause they were featured in the newcomer s festival and with a very high hatch rate too
If I remember well, we were given a 50% discount for the first purchase at the shop. In my opinion, Atrahasis is really worth the 6 Legendary tickets. Apart from atrahasis, there are no other legendary ones that are worth it.
Nah for the first time discount go for soral then atharias cuz this way u can save 4 extra ticket
Edit: I was wrong u should buy atharias as first time discount is only for legendaries thanks to @Draconis for correcting me.
I thought only Legendary (who doesnt have date) monsters got a discount. So SE, epic or below and Shiny Legendary(shop) ,Myth (shop) doesnt have discount.

My idea of the shop from 8 years ago is thriving, am so glad the devs listened and added it.
Another feature would be able to exchange monsters in the shop for tickets. The normal rate would be 1/3 each shard grants one 7star ticket but for a limited time when a monster is nerfed or changed you can exchange for full value 3/3 so each shard grants 3 7star tickets
Same goes for legendaries and super epics etc expect you get legendary tickets

I think i’ll get Atrahasis as he’s very useful and kind of essential for hard PVE fights.
I’ll keep the remaining tickets and try to stash more over time and work on getting and awakening Soral next

Basically a shop were monsters are listed, you can obtain them through different currencies such as (legendary tickets mythic tickets etc)
The shop also has a sell option where you can trade your monster for those currencies at 1/3 of the price.
If a monster lets say came out more powerful then intended thats the devs fault for not testing, while there are thousands of combinations the devs could not test each one so when the inventible happens and a nerf comes the players that spent will lose their value in the monster and might no longer want the nerfed version so the shop offers them for a limited time period the ability to sale off the nerfed Monster for the full value in terms of currency ( mythics will be 7 star tickets and legendaries will be 6star tickets).
This approach let the devs have the freedom to balance the game out and make up for any unintended mistakes while also avoiding players outrage from losing there money
