Should dolphins nerf?

In my personal opinion, I think they should stay as they are. I also think that the error was made by the developers by putting them in a festival,before the one who had at least two could be considered lucky, now anyone has them, and it doesn’t seem fair to me that they nerf them. The developers were the ones who made the mistake of putting them in the festival. They are also not impossible monsters to counter. If we continue like this, players who depend on legendary monsters will have no choice but to leave the game.

Buff the other 2 dolphins as well .
I will love to see a midgame consisting of 6 dolphins.

I agree, if the dolphins are nerfed, the legendary and f2p users will have nothing to play with, I also think that Poseidon deserves more Nerf than the dolphins, since they are accountants and nobody uses dolphins with ap spam

Imho, some good ways to deal with them would be:

  1. Change the stat buff: keep Stun Immunity and ATK+50% (so that they can still OHKO Mythics) but remove the 50% DEF buff

  2. Change the Bond requirement: as KD suggested some time ago, make Dolphin Bond deactivate when there’s too many dolphins in the field. This is the best idea imho.

  3. Change the Bond benefits: instead of Stun Immunity, make each dolphin have a different, possibly unique passive for their Dolphin Bond. This would make them more flexible than they’re now.

Personally I’d like to see the def boost removed, and change the passives that they get to something that suits their moveset better, IE, phoone gets stun immune, flipper gets poison immune, phreeze gets stun bisector or sleep immune/insomnia, phoenix gets lightning entrance, etc.

I also think the same, I have seen many very broken combinations, for example, AS guardian + AS breaker + Poseidon, you are forced to attack AS guardian, and well you know that revenge comes later, Or also AS mits + Poseidon, the truth is that they are very broken strategies. When only a few used the dolphin nobody asked for a nerf, and the players are not to blame for that, and again those who do not pay are the ones who suffer, although I recognize that the secret ability Freeze should be able to be performed at least after 50 seconds from the start of the battle.

The dolphins aren’t a solely f2p strategy. Frankly, I’ve seen so many f2p and p2w because they’re so hard to kill and can’t be stunned. Same goes for poseidon and energy charge.

Even with their attack and defense strengthened they are not unkillable, for example alphastorm kills dolfreeze with fast rage in one attack and almost kills dolphoenix and dolphone and it’s just super epic.

It is a sociable and cooperative animal and usually lives in a community, with hierarchies and some specific tasks. Hunting together is part of the behavior of dolphins.

Discard that please. It’s okay for them to work together, it just removes the defense boost so anything can kill them

The ally charge strategy deserves a lot more nerf than the dolphins, not that it is impossible to counter, but it is very difficult, especially with its speed, since most players have nauticruiser +9 and aurazur with at least one shard

Both dolphin spam and energy charge can be quite difficult to counter. Dolphin spam is a pain to deal with if you don’t have lots of mons with high damage output and energy charge frontlines are hard to deal with if you don’t run enough camouflage or high speed mons. I say both should be nerfed tbh

I think that the real problem lies in the mythical speed

I shared that same idea. Developers need to be careful about putting all the strong monsters together in one banner and more so when it comes to a festival. They must also take care of the power of the monsters they put in the store. We already saw what happened with Flocu in the past

If their defense buff wasn’t so high, it wouldn’t be a problem. They tank too many things they shouldn’t tank

I like the other option I suggested too:

  1. Dolphreeze’s dolphin bond → stun immunity. Then make dolphin bond only active when there is a Dolphreeze/Spectrophin/Dolphariel on the battlefield (i.e. the ones which don’t have the passive).
