I want to save up jems for a monster I really, really want, I know that the little increase in a featured monster might nag better luck of getting it, and I wont have over 200 gems. SO is the shop featured monsters random? or from a list online?
I want to save gems and grind hard, so when it comes, I will get a better shot at getting it.
(I want the blue energy charge dragon, he is in shop but I dont have mythic tickets, So I want to get him the regular way.)
If you want one specific monster, there is no point. If you can’t buy it, then getting it is ni-impossible. After a year, I have only ever hatched one monster that I specifically wanted. Everything else, I had to build around.
Even then, though, that was a Super-Epic. Getting one specific mythic is pointless, and seven-star tickets are basically impossible to get.

Same here. And I may be on of the luckiest f2ps ever. I got 9 legends and a mythic all in a row in regular eggs, but I barely use those anyway.
Moral of the story, they need to add in more useful monsters on the islands. I got the Omegawyrm in Hunter island twice, i have no issues with a even 1/1000 chance to catch a good mythic. Anything to get that one monster that you need for your team. I’m sure that other pros will agree.
Yes, I no pro either but I too would agree on that, I don’t mind walking around for one hour.

To answer your main question…
The shop has set monsters in it. Over time it will slowly have standard egg pool legendaries retired into it (we think). The mythic section has all the standard egg pool mythics in it constantly. The “limited time” section has the mythics which are currently featured in eggs, one SE at a time (it cycles through a few of them which are pretty much unique to the shop) and periodically they have new shiny legendaries which come out there for the big spenders to buy early before they later come out in eggs (shiny Gallio and Cyclo right now).

So monsters that are in the limited time shop are in the special egg, prismegasus is in there now
That means that it will be there in special egg.
( dont know if it was in there before it came to egg pool, if so then monsters in limited time shop will be in the limited time special egg?)

Featured monsters are not in the normal egg pools. Prismegasus is being featured in an egg right now so it’s in the “limited time” section in the shop.
