It depends on your collection. As Coltraz shows, there are plenty of mythics that do really powerful things for UC. We’ve been getting mythics with guaranteed kill / insane damage moves for a long time now and it was hard to afford to play them. Having a lot more void in the UC meta also helps shake things up a lot.

I definitely enjoy the battles far more now with the variety of things I meet and more flexibility in what I play. Playing more proactive monsters is much more interesting than skipping turn loads and hoping DR works well. I reckon that’s why people generalise so much saying it’s just Auro+DR even though it’s always had some proactive things you could do… there simply weren’t enough to make it interesting for many people.

Idk how my tone was percieved.

I meant only that DR spam, especially that team, looks like it basically just evolved into a mythic version of it.

6 mons that kill with revenge, auro and dr counters

Don’t worry, I was just using your post as an excuse to ramble some thoughts of mine.

You’re correct there’s some DR in his team, to some degree it’s always going to be part of the core team building for UC because it’s such high value. As you say, it’s even common in PvP to see many (if not most) monsters with either a strong revenge or entrance because they’re very reliable.

As someone who does all PvE content / events as well as PvP - my opinion is that UC is way too long and gets boring quite quick.

Propably my least favorite event right after my most hated one - Island Challenge :face_vomiting::face_vomiting::face_vomiting:

Now I’m intrigued! Will probably check them out now since I haven’t bothered doing them for a long time

It’s the missions where you use your own team, not given teams

Thank you bro :people_hugging:

Holy crap you cooked

Btw are you getting lucky or does petrify has secret focus? You keep ignoring rockoids and the skill does not say can not be redirected.

He uses onika to give nagadia focus

Great video! I’m glad you showed a bunch where plan A didn’t work.

What were the toughest teams for you to face? Was it basically just stun protection in the FL or were particular things a big problem? I imagine Tortogeist is one of the most annoying because it both absorbs stun and you can’t petrify it without losing Nagandia/Medusa.

Id assume shi na was a headache caus no matter how many times you petrify her

She always comes back :smirk:

The thing that challenges me the most is shi na fl or dark owl because when I apply petrify to them, they continue to stay on the field and rockroid goes to the 5th place. Apart from that, teams with multiple sacrifices are challenging, for example, the nophiam teams at the beginning of the game were scary. I can also count maggat+chary depending on the monsters used next to him. Because this can poison and kill Medusa and Bastia. I don’t have a hard time with Torto because the stun flash makes it dead weight for a certain period of time and I target the last petrify with Medusa for Torto and automatically lift Medusa.
