This is an absolute joke compared to Torazou for example. He needs 5 kills to activate the 30 Tu “in the zone” which doesn’t even 1 shot all monsters. Now there’s simply no way to justify the 5 kill requirement on that skill.

You can’t keep that up because stealthy accelerate is 42TU and Selene doesn’t have camouflage. I think it’s better to do elem accelerate on Selene

@Dev_VKC It’s time for that to change. Torazu needs new conditions to activate in the area. It’s just unusable

In this setup stealthy accelerate was 33tu but that does not even matter that much. If they want to keep her TU then it needs to be immune to acceleration to avoid stuff like this.

I tried that same tactic yesterday. Everybody ran from it lol

You get 27tu with regular accelerate team

The method of acceleration is irrelevant. Coltraz is right and fair play to him for calling out something he could abuse. Selene shouldn’t be accelerated

I dont think acceleration is a problem nor the defense boost, 80% of the times she would not have that boost as you or opponent can have a light monster

Just doing the suggested thing below should be fine,

  • i would increase the seconds to 50 tu and new moon will allow you to do gibbus directly and full moon can be triggered by crescent.

150 tu for the full circle and nyx can counter her making the tu 300 seconds, also the green whale can counter her

Then she loses the cycle. She is fun only because there is a closed cycle and order or skills.

Am doing that from my gaming experience.

The entire point is to balance her out, increasing the tu is the only way i see at the moment

Alternatively you could change sleep immunity to insomnia but that would not drop her power level by much all it would do is stop OoO and kill samurai guy again.

The defense boost is nice but realistically no one is playing her for the defense boost, you would not weaken your team just for that boost.

So it brings us back to the skill tu. Changing jt to 50 tu is sensible but without the suggested change her circle would be 200tu which is quite alot coming from 136 and with nyx around it would be 400 compared to 272

The most sensible thing to do is increase the tu and shorten the circle

The lunar cycle is well designed, that is what the monster consists of, each movement triggers the next, increasing TU to 50 I think is a lot, with 42 TU it would be more balanced

Her base skills are now 40tu. They should either pump it to 50 and awakened would be 42tu or keep it as it is but completely block accelerating her.

This is a similar case to when Nyx was released and you could very easily play her with Iris or ShieldDragon and negate Fermata on your side while accelerating your monsters even more.

So, you want Nyx to remain omnipotent?
They do well to release low TU monsters that can counter her, now, 32 TU is excessively low so she considers 42 to be the perfect amount for her.

I completely agree with you, that should be the approach.

You do realize that nyx users can just run selene in the midgame right? lol

For a TU change I would want 40 → 70 → 70 → 40 for the cycle of moves. This better matches the lunar cycle which is 3-4 days and 7-8 days for each of these stages.

Also, the first move deals tiny damage and increasing the TU on that slows the first damaging action Selene can take so I think that probably should stay at 40TU.

Besides, this was just a Google that happily aligned with what I wanted to do to the moveset TU anyway.
