If simply avoiding revenge attacks were enough to counter it, that would be great; but when you combine Novem’s passive with Embrelle’s entry, she can wipe out four of your units in a single turn. And even if that doesn’t happen, Novem’s SS can keep two monsters sealed—but hey, people seem to think this is normal ![]()

100% agreeable, cuz if something has 100%wr it means everyone will run it and we all come back to same point, but far stranger
Lol
Same i can feel you. My only two loses during ranked was because of this guy ![]()
I think Emberelle and the whole fire spam got out of hand and keeps getting overlooked and actually seems to be always getting buffed.
Not only it already had a pretty strong fire link strategy before but now you get one virtually impossible to kill monster plus Emberelle reviving spam and dealing huge damage by simply existing and to top things off there’s also Jingwei. And guess what, they are actually not restricted at all for PVP, you can run all three. Also Novemdomina is unrestricted, but I guess as long as we restrict Momo or Voidress for the 100th time, we will have a very fresh PVP experience.
@Dev_VKC Care to explain the point of having a restriction list if we continue to have HP boosted CW spam and now fire link spam and they never get touched? Either the list is purposely design to benefit an specific strategy or you guys don’t give a damn anymore and just randomly choose monsters. Sanguithor is supposedly a revenge counter for the absurd revival spam meta and yet you decide to restrict Cyclophina who is a great revenge counter. Where is the logic?
Ok I will play 1 match and come weigh in, since then the gatekeepers will allow me to do it ![]()
Meta changes my brother,
Not sure you understand what I wrote, but thanks for your input.

I hope you at least know that you’re complaining for nothing? The developers of this game aren’t exactly the most consistent, there’s no point in discussing the same problems over and over again, and you need to moved on
Oh yeah, that I know. I’m mostly pointing out the hypocritical nature of their comments.
Here’s my team. You can nerf them all, I don’t care. I haven’t played this game competitively for a few months; it’s practically dead to me. You guys don’t have the common sense to realize that a top player with a nearly complete collection can’t handle a monster.
@Dev_VKC It’s stupid to release a nearly useless monster and then, after seeing that only a few players got it, make it the most broken monster in the game. You should re-release it right after the update.
In the past I’ve even asked for nerfs for my own monsters, this is a thread about Sanguitor, that’s why I’m talking about it. If I had him awake, I’m sure he’d have a 100% win rate this season and I’d still say he’s broken.
Cope
Now we can see why those four losses to a literal counter monster triggered him so much.
@Dev_VKC this ranked was a good example of what’s wrong with PVP. Matches are decided by who gets to execute swaps with Petrora first.
Stupid design , I don’t even run a single revenge mons till the 13 spot (no stun too) and this mons still punishes u with the seals ,Aoe paired with all the entrance Aoe and more.
Link fire is brain dead hopefully devs will see from the results as well.
You’re proving my point.
So we have to stop using Vengeance so that Sanguineitor isn’t so lethal? Meanwhile, the opponent is waiting for you with Jinwey, Embrelle, Astra, Pandora, Kumachi, Melusine, daji etc.?But of course, I imagine you’d get a real kick out of people who don’t have Sanguinius not being able to use Vengeances, while you get to use every single Vengeance in the game ![]()

Do you realize how stupid that is?
So let’s get this straight. They released Sanguithor as a literal F tier mythic whose main contribution was turning matches into a 3v3. Nobody bothered getting him because there was basically no reason to.
Instead of actually reworking the skillset to make him more viable, they turned him into a counter to basically every revenge in the game. And yes, hilariously, he even counters himself now. I fully expect another tweak before his next release anyway. Not that it matters much when anyone sitting on myth tickets can grab him whenever they want.
And the personal attacks against me do not really change the argument. I will always own everything, so yes, obviously I can run every revenge monster in the game too. This really is not that difficult to understand.
No one is making personal attacks, lol. He was good even before his buff—I tried to get him back then—but later they turned him into the most broken character in the game. The problem isn’t that he counters Vengeance moves; it’s that the people who have him use all the broken Vengeance moves in the game. So, we aren’t supposed to use Vengeance moves, but our opponents can? That’s unfair and makes no sense; he definitely deserves a nerf.
