Sanguithor (Poll and Discussion)

With the right synergy, it’s definitely become good even against opponents not running too many revenges or stun. However, that’s probably okay because it’s nice to encourage a new synergistic team.

In terms of whether it’s a meta solution or shifter, I think it has the potential to be a shifter. It’s been common to run things like Rodeknight for a while, but Sanguithor is more like a Mortilys where it can completely make you lose for having your team built wrongly. Again though, it might be a good thing.

The one aspect I’m unsure about is the stun converter style of passive. Countering both revenges AND stun is very broad and might make the synergistic setups too strong. Since it’s sleep immune, impossible to target and won’t die to any death revenges the “stun converter” closes off yet another way to handle it. It will stick on the battlefield the whole battle and undoubtedly encounter 1-2 stuns, which in my mind should be a normal team that doesn’t deserve punishing by Sanguithor.

I agree, but I think if they remove his stun resistance, they should at least lower his ability duration to 160 seconds or less to compensate, because 250 seconds plus being stunned, plus inputs that increase duration, like Rimmu’s, would make him obsolete again

He has a skill that reduces it to 153 by default…

It will still be delayed by 250 seconds, and without its stun immunity, it will never get a turn before your entire team has been taken down.
