Regarding some Buff and Nerf in the next update

I never said that monsters you don’t build around work bad, I said Sweetfeather works bad.

With some luck he makes a couple of kills, but he’s slow, easy to kill (sleep killers, no hold ground, mediocre defense), easy to stop (purify and similars), and when he works he’s not even that explosive. His SS is good, but that’s all he has going for him I think.

Compared to monsters similar in design he really is underwhelming: Banedragon is already better and more versatile by himself as he doesn’t have to rely in his entrance, plus you can also combo him with Terrordragon or counter ooo fl, and he’s not even Limited. Penguinator on the other hand is limited, just like Sweetfeather, but it doesn’t take much to see he’s way better than him.

Maybe it’s just me, but I think he could use a buff.

@SaSSolino8
I agree with you tbh.

A lot of people feeling like Sweetfeather needs a little buff but I can’t see it. Dreamy entrance then gets a turn faster than most of the other sleep monsters and will instantly put a second monster to sleep on the first turn before using exit plan so you have a 4v2 for the next ~300s (Soulstealer and the like are faster). The restriction is you’ve got to have link set up but it’s worth it for the pay-off and you only need it for the first time it comes in. If it gets killed before its turn then you still got the benefit of an enemy monster asleep for 320s.

It can also work as a sweeper alongside other sleep monsters but the main use I reckon is dropping in and out of play putting enemy monsters to sleep.

There was a thread recently which discussed it: Swetfeather

As I said he can be good, but he’s way too easy to disrupt for what he does. Before I got my Onigeist he was my least used legendary, and I have a Sancstallion.

EDIT: I’ve read the other post and I agree with most things people said, on both sides. Still think he needs a buff though, but not necessarely a big one. He could get Sleep or Bloodthrist instead of Megalux, he could become faster, get HG, Purify All could be faster and/or have Link removed from his SS. I wouldn’t know which one(s) would be better though.

This is good news… i hope the shiny monster get some buff and new skill too

I agree. Giving him sleep immune would be an excellent passive with his move set

Sweetfeather is in the same league as banedragon so no buff needed. It already has so much utility.

I have no idea how you could compare Banedragon with Sweetfeather, but whatever.

Great idea man.

What about Mojinator? I don’t have him, but for those who do and fell like he could be better, what buffs are you suggesting?

Would making his Salvation usable multiple times be too powerful? If not, what should take the place of heal all?

I would be very happy if salvation would be replaced with:
Ejector Heal - fully heal the team, while also kill Mojinator and trigger his passive (put lower form next in line). This move should be on 3rd and 2nd forms (1st form will have a normal heal all, same as the regular moji).

The problem with salvation is that its a 1 time use for 200 tu. Its so high that its unuseble… its just a healing move… why would i use him over solariel who got risky all for 160, purify for 50 tu and a give turn? I really prefer those, as they can save you in more situations then moji (which mainly good for a purfying mist, and then theres drako - a much better wall for that).

Its a game of speed, and while moji has roaring - all his moves costs minimum 130 tu and barlely worth building a wall with. Making him suicide and heal will make his game more dynamic.

@Dev_VKC what do you think? I will def use him more that way

Wait so if you use Heal All you don’t trigger Ejector Seat? Ah, now I see why you guys are asking for buffs.

I just realized something: I see a lot of people using DR cloners with Atra or Auro for high level PvE, so why is everyone asking for buffs?

Mainly because you need to play a VERY specific strategy that only works at PVE because of DR and barley have anything to do with their useless moveset. They have almost the same roll as puff and rhyno (while puff and rhyno’s sendback make them more usefull).

Most players want effective PvP monsters.

im pretty sure that those monsters are still usefull in pvp. obviously spamming same strategy as ai isnt going to work in pvp. you have to think outside the pve box. that could be said the same for most monsters.

edit: dont change mojis skill to kill himself. i dont see what the rush is. hes going to die eventually anyways. i dont have one but i know that one of the places he shines are tower events and having him die from healing will destroy his usefulness for those since he wont be available the next battle.

As Boilertribe said so perfectly “Most players want effective PvP monsters”. I swear it will be the death of the PvE in this game. I totally agree that making Mojinator’s heal move kill itself and trigger the passive is really not nice for the combos in PvE. The whole point is it’s a full heal for the team with zero risk to the user dying… it might not fit with what everyone wants but it’s good to have a monster with that in the game, especially one with roaring entrance.

No Problem… i trade my mojinator for a blackbeast

You can definitely win PvP by spamming DR, trust me

Because DR is a stupid skill that shouldn’t exist.
