So let’s bring today one of the most broken moves in Neo Monsters, Tsunami Mortar.
Well what to say? Can EASY double shot 2 monsters eccept storm ones, can be spammed in between GT protectors, and is relatively fast + shield.
So @Dev_VKC for the sake of fun, this need to be fixed. Is just totally nuts!
Any opinion is welcome, but if you have to contradict bring up some reasons why shouldn’t be RAW.
I don’t think Tsunami Mortar is OP, just… It’s a lazy concept for a move. What about something cooler, like:
• Double Retribution Mortar (50sec)
• Survivor+ Mortar (50sec)
• Novabeam Mortar (70sec)
And give her Stun Counter instead of Stun Absorber
Hi Dont! I got it really recently (last time it came out I was able to hatch it), I had 9 potions to spare and I gave them to him without hesitation, but after using it in ranked it didn’t seem really powerful, that is, it has a long loading time and stun, you get rid of it most of the game, the metagame is really very diverse and it doesn’t give me the feeling that it’s one of those that stands out to nerf it.
But it may be that my lack of experience of using it and I have not fully taken out its potential.
When everything goes perfectly for Bloom, tsunami mortar rips through entire teams. But if Bloom is used as stun protection, less so. You have to build around it slightly for it to be able to sweep, aka put in a stun counter or Aethereon as well. After the True Hit upgrade, I don’t think Bloom deserves a nerf anymore. It is powerful, but not ridiculously and unconditionally so.
I see that as building around it and also compromising the rest of your strategy. So there is a trade-off, which is important. Also Bloom needs a bit of time to get off and you have a window to deal with it. Again it’s one of those monsters which is on the balance of being powerful or too powerful.
Nope, I use Suikenshi and most of the times bloom is not a problem, but some sick GT combination made me think a lot about this.
Tsunami is basically a double piercing mortar, too good to be hidden behind protectors.
Now that we have very effective counters to protectors I don’t see why we’d need any further nerfs to Bloomeluga. In fact, making it raw tsunami will probably just make it stronger.
So should there be a higher TU restriction in Tsunami Mortar so instead of making it RAW and still available X amount of seconds have passed, keep Tsunami Mortar the way it is design wise but make the TU restriction like Gazer where Tsunami cannot be used until 500s have passed since the start of the battle, or 300s after the users first turn?
