Rare egg update

@Dev_VKC @Dev_BRD

This update to the rare egg is brilliant! There are now a huge number of unique SE monsters in the rare egg pool. This was a very sensible decision as a way to deal with all the older limited SEs and to make rare eggs special no matter what you get (legendary or super epic). I have absolutely nothing bad to say about this change, thank you.

However, it states in the news update:
"Monsters that are available in the Gold Egg will be removed from the Rare Gold Egg."

This is only true for super epics. There are a fairly large number of legendaries which are in both egg pools. However, I’m not here to correct the news… I’m here to suggest that you make the same change to legendaries as you are to super epics (making the news true).

I don’t expect the complete removal of all legendaries in the rare egg which are already in the gold egg, but removing a few more and adding a few previously limited legendaries into the rare egg (in place of them) would be brilliant. Ultimately I would love to see no individual legendary being in both egg pools but I won’t push for that just yet.

It is much better design if the two egg pools have different monsters in, because then you know you’re more likely to get new monsters with your hard-earned rare gems rather than a monster you’ve already picked up. This is especially good for helping newer players catch up as they can more easily collect a reasonably large collection of legendaries (and SEs) in a shorter timespan.

I hope you (Devs) will consider this for the rare egg pool update this Friday or, if not, sometime very soon.

P.S. There is a slight selfish reason I’m writing this. I’ve saved up many rare gems and am waiting for the next update to the legendary pool before using them. There’s no way I’ll drop my rare gems if there’s the possibility of more legendaries I don’t have being added to the pool.

The change only affects Super Epic monsters, Legendaries will stay the same.
We are sorry for confusing statement. We will change the line to make it more clearly.

We were considering about doing that for Legendaries, but not this time.
We will do it eventually in the future for sure.

Thanks.

Thanks for the reply. I look forward to you doing it for legendaries too. I will hold onto my rare gems for now. It will make an awesome video when I finally use them!

I was gonna suggest you video it. I wanna see please.

@Dev_VKC Please do it for the legendaries. I got like 9 left in the rare egg that I don’t have. 2 of them being regular egg legendaries.

For that matter the regular egg could use an update too. . . I have no reason to open eggs in any amount other than 60 at a time.

Well I feel like that’s kind of the point of the Gold Egg pool. It’s got the standard ones in it which you get while going for featured legendaries. Across the Gold Egg and Rare Gold Egg the standard, original legendaries should be covered with no exceptions. If these monsters get removed they’ll have no place in the game they’re available.

I’d rather that the rare egg pool simply adapts around what’s in the gold egg pool and the latter stays untouched.

@Dev_VKC Thanks for updating the rare egg pool!

Can you confirm that all legendaries within the rare egg pool will have the same % chance of being hatched? i.e., 0.4 * (1/32) for all 32 legendaries in the pool taking into account the 40% chance to hatch a legendary to begin with.

Or do certain legendaries have a higher % chance of being hatched?

This question also applies to SEs but as 0.6 * (1/65) for all 65 SEs in the pool taking into account the 60% chance to hatch a SE to begin with.

Thank you!
