I’ve got a few random questions… thanks for help in advance. I would appreciate other tips if you think of anything. I’ve also glanced through a good chunk of KD’s guides.
1. Gem Spending: I’m trying to figure out the best long-term plan on how to use my gems and grow my account. I love playing with different strategies and don’t necessarily want to focus on “meta.”
I read advice that new accounts should focus on aquiring monsters. Given how I enjoy the game, this would suit me well. I was looking at the Assorted Eggs, but they don’t seem very good? Not only is the average egg more expensive, but even if I get more than the just the single guaranteed mythic. The other mythics available don’t really catch my eye… Currently, I have a feeling that waiting for the anniversary in just a month might be the better bet. I’m at 1100 Gems, no paid, and don’t plan on spending for more…
In general, would experienced players recommend waiting for banners with a boosted Mythic/Lengend chance only? Or pulling any Mythics you know you will want to work on long-term. I read KD’s guide, but am still learning banner names/types and got a little lost.
2. Rerun Times: I absolutely fell in love with Astrajlyth when I saw him. I spent all the gems I had at the time on his recent banner… unfortunately x13 Ten Pulls and no luck. How long for reruns? Both Legendary and Mythic.
3. Anniversary: Is there any pattern or heads up about which monsters will be in the Anni banners? Astrajlyth and Tenguko are my main goal. And probably the only ones to make me buy some gems for the event. XD
4. Potions: Is it better to hoard these until I get monsters I really want to improve? Or use them a bit more casually? I’m currently doing the former. Also, I saw in another guide that it’s better to potions monsters BEFORE evolving? Otherwise, it’s basically wasting resources because now you have to use more expensive potions. I evolve all my monsters as soon as I can… Will this habit come back to bite me potion-wise?
5. Bond Quests: Is it really just the listed rewards on each page? No mon buffs or other benefits? It just feels like a huge EN sink with relatively little reward as a month long player. I feel like I’m missing something. I saw it was good for EXP somewhere, but 20 tickets for 100 EXP isn’t very good… Will later bond levels really balance it out?
I’m not an expert but here’s what I think atleast.
1. Waiting for the anniversary is probly the best call cuz its coming soon. They’ll release new monsters and hatching mythics will be guaranteed, pity is every 10th pack instead of 30. The fortune shrine where you need 1,200 gems will be there too so best save gems. If you wanna hatch probly go for festival eggs or hatch whichever you like.

3. There should be I think? Last anniversary pretty sure someone knew which mythics will rerun i forgot who or how tho.
4. Nice, hord em potions. I think they changed it so even if you have an unevolved super epic monster you would still need super epic potions. Same goes for legends
5. Its aesthetic? and you get icons of the monster. Some monsters would actually like to complete the bondquest like mojignis and thundring since their skill do get buffs.For super epic bondquests I remember it gives 2 ores for hp boost tho. Is all
Good morning . I’ll try to answer all of these as much as I can . It’s just what I think.
1)
Don’t spend except on anniversary and banners which have increased legendary and myth chance ( it will be shown in the bottom of the screen of some limited banners) unless you can suffer a loss . Keep saving up and go all out on anniversary . It’s beneficial compared to those . I , for myself didn’t go to the 300 gems hatch and I wouldn’t try that .
As I said , don’t waste on them . It’s quite hard and needs high luck . The month when xuanwa came out , I spent only 40 gems and got two copies of her and 1 legendary but that’s only sometimes like 1/100 times . Yeah , on love banner I spent 480 gems and got nothing but just leviathan.

It’s best to save up for stronger mons like cws(I hope you know) , legendaries like doomgoo , pgs etc with a few applied to your current mons for initial support . Like +5 or +6 like that . Don’t waste on outdated or weak mons.
They just give your mon names a unique bluish look and you get monster icons in return if you want to collect . Honestly , i am not fond of them that much but yeah , I like icons so I clear them once in a while .
Get to 500 gems and stay above it. It is the real ‘0’. Also, don’t hatch on a banner if you can only afford to hatch <800 gems’ worth.

Don’t hatch immediately, especially if you can only afford to awaken one of them. for one weekend, the two anniversary banners overlap. The free neo ticket will expire at the end of December. Also, until then you want to treat 1200 as your new ‘0’, as the shrine for anniversary went all the way up to 1200 gems for the final amount.
Honestly, treat them as multiples of 3, as that is the only way they really give any value as at +3, +6, +9 they actually affect TU. For SE, on the other hand. POT THEM ALL. you will almost literally print SE potions that can convert to Legend potions if every SE you own is +9. potions has however changed to need their final evolotion’s pots.
this is the real PvE endgame of neo, you can get hundreds of gems/health boosting items from Super Epic Bond quests alone
Oooo!! I heard rumors of a 1200 shrine, but thought it was scrapped for the 500 Gem shrine at some point. I feel this alone has sealed my decision to save and discover what other monsters I want to go for the most in the long run.
Hopefully we know the monsters banners a bit ahead of time. This’ll be my first anni event while playing the game, so I’m excited. I’ll keep a look out for future posts in the form.
I’ll be honest, I don’t entirely understand your potion comment. You’re saying you can use potions even on unevolved monsters? So, it’s better to use Epic potions on Super Epic monsters before evolving anything?
I’m glad to see my suspicions to wait on banners confirmed. I’m still curious of peoples general view on the Assorted Banners too.

Second banner is hidden until it releases, the overlap you can see both. The neo ticket is 1 free mythic/mythic shard of your choice in the provided shop, so if you want more astra and it’s in there. Enjoy.
Basically, among the things you will most often hatch are Epics and Super Epics, if they’re all +9, instead of copies that increase their bonus towards the cap of +9, they give their respective potions. if they’re all +9, every time you hatch, even if you don’t get a legend/mythic, you get potions, so it isn’t entirely a waste anymore. Half-anniversary was a normal shrine, but at least the pity changes to only drop the featured mythic. Aniversary banners on the other hand the pity cap of 300 drops to 100, and anniversary festival banners other than the 2 anniversary mythics follow the same rule, so if you want to awkane something, save to 1200, do the anniversary shrine and choose a banner.(Remember to keep your gems above 500 when hatching after doing the 1200 gem shrine)

Just noticed you were asking about the assorted eggs. These are what we in the business like to call golden eggs with nothing in them, as these are the worst banners to hatch on ever.

This should give you all the info you need to know about the anniversary. It seems to be a very similar formula they use each year now:
The way how we predicted the 10 featured mythics (besides the 2 new ones) is they all:
didn’t first release in the last ~18 months
are currently “limited” (not in the standard egg pool)
are not so old that they get added to the standard egg pool during the anniversary (each year they put some more into it)
were not featured during the half anniversary (can see which ones appeared there in this thread)
were not featured in the weeks right before the anniversary
^ Factor in all those conditions and it makes the list relatively small.
I also wanted to correct a couple of people above:
“Festival eggs” DO NOT give boosted chance for mythics. They boost legendaries from 4% → 6.1% and SEs from 25% → 37.9%. Mythics remain at 1% with the featured mythic being 0.75% of that.
The normal pity is at 30 packs, where if you don’t have the featured mythic by that point (about 1 in 10 of the time) you get it automatically as the 300th egg. In the anniversary it is NOT a change to the pity system. Instead you simply automatically get every 100th egg turned into a mythic egg (the 10th egg of the 10th pack). If you’ve dodged the featured mythic for 29 packs despite the two extra mythic eggs then you’ll get the normal pity kick in and turn that 300th egg into it.
In terms of bond quest, it’s late-game PvE content for once you’re done with the other story events and not needing to farm ingredients. The difficulty scales up considerably as you get far into it and the exp too. I made the table below for it.
Levels 1-40 are basically for new players. 41-80 steps up in difficulty. 81-90 is going to require a proper PvE team to do. 90+ is very challenging unless you’ve got a big collection.
In total you get 285k exp and it takes 3300 tickets, netting 863 exp / 10 tickets… which is fairly medium. It’s also super top heavy so new players will not level up much from it.
Gems-wise it’s also nothing special but gives you some nice extra income if you’re not spending your free tickets elsewhere. Again, half the gems are in levels 101-120 so only for true veterans.
Monster names change colour when you get them +9. Completing bond quest for them changes the colour once again and makes them get a sparkles effect (which you can toggle off in the settings). You also get the icons at lvl 80, which is seen as an accessible level to achieve. So it’s completionist stuff for the late-game that doesn’t give those players any material advantage.

Will you be posting the monster banner estimates as soon as we get close enough to the anniversary? If so, will it be like a week or two before October?
Side note, nice! As I’m reading through all your suggestions and tier lists I think I’ve gotten pretty lucky with my unfocused pulls as a newer player. I’ve got Selene, 1 Shard for Charybdia, Vizigard, Centureon, Tortigeist, Gryphking, Polaboss, Ashterios, and Tremmorgore. Tremmorgore has been an unexpected MVP for me for sure! With Selene my expected MVP. I’ve even got good cloners for PvE in Tenebris and the adorable electric puffball.
I’ll be eyeing that Aurodragon. It’s nice having a detailed explanation on what to expect and plan for with the tickets. We almost just need a dictionary for game specific terms.
Yes. Anniversary should be in the week that has Friday 23rd October. I’ve actually got that week off work (it’s my wedding anniversary) so I should be active here and will post featured mythic predictions probably 1-2 weeks in advance.
Your collection so far sounds great! I’d strongly recommend hatching one copy of Tenguko and Alyce when you get a chance. They’re very useful tools for both PvE and PvP in their second form. Obviously saving for the anniversary is the priority at the moment.
We did actually have one, many years ago! It’s outdated of course. If there are specific terms you want to know then just ask and I’m sure people will easily explain
Lol, yeah, I definitely think it’s relatively easy. I dont think month old accounts are supposed to reach lvl 90/100 in the dungeon event. With enough tries I think I could get to 100. But it would take MANY tries. Even my current Ultimate Challenge level is 410, rank 285. It’s been a second since I struggled in the online or offline story either. I haven’t gotten to Hell mode yet though. Which I’m excited to reach.
