Questions on bonus potions

Can anyone be kind enough to answer few simple questions on potions? Im a newb.

There are legendary, SSR, SR potions. And there are legendary, SEpic, Epic, SRare, Rare, Normal monsters.
I would like to know who takes what grade of potion. For instance, legendary mon starts from 5 stars. Do they take SSR when 5/6, and take legendary when 6/6? Or do they always take legendary?

  3. S Epic mon 4/5
  4. S Epic mon 5/5
  5. Starter, Chronozeros 3/5
  6. Starter, Chronozeros 4/5
  7. Starter, Chronozeros 5/5
    Can you tell me what these guys take?

Legends all ways take legend potions
The only exception is the starters and chrono as they start of as epics and se and not considered se or legends till they evolve

So you mean no matter the current evol
Legend(6 max) takes legend,
S epic(5 max) takes SSR,
Epic(4 max) takes SR,
Starter & Chrono takes potion of current star?

i guess i have a question about potions/ monsters too. so ill just piggy back on this thread.

Question is about clone monsters and potions. Do any clone monsters retain potion stat after clone or is it just the original that gets the bonus? Saw on tenebris, that its just the original, but hes definitly not the only monster that can clone or duplicate etc.

i know that there are other monsters with blood duplicate etc. where there only goal is to duplicate and die so doesnt really seem like i should waste a potion on those if its only the original that gets the bonus.

Clones do not retain original monster potions value.

Which is stupid if you ask me, besides a warning would have been appreciated since I wasted 2 potions on my Doom Engine.

follow up question, haven’t checked it out since new secret skill stuff isnt in effect yet. but, if you rebirth a monster, does it loose potion bonuses?

and one more, bonus potions from +8 to +9 does nothing for seconds reduction right? it only affects speed?

on volcanvaer or what ever its called, seconds reduction at +8 and +9 are the same. with:

poison gas: 42 sec
poison eater: 135 sec
link double poison eater: 84 sec
senback: 59 sec

It still affects but is not seen, try accelerating and you’ll see the TU difference

Chronox doesn’t take epic pots. Only SE.
