The probability of this happening is very low. So even if it is not transferred to the game exactly, if it is liked a lot, it may be a source of inspiration. We also have friends who do other designs. Even if it is not transferred to the game, it is nice to share ideas here.

I think the chance isn’t that low, there are quite some monsters based on fanarts.
I’d like to see some examples @Tavaray might be able to post some fanart/final examples.
Doomgoo and many other great designs, apparently Moku too, but unfortunately I didn’t see the fanart yet.

Yes. There have been lots of cases of this happening. Obviously they don’t pick every design and stylistically they often change it a little bit with thier own spin however they definitely take some inspiration from fan made designs.
The crystal worms, mechydra, doomgoo and a large number of @Tavaray made designs are examples of these.
Moku wasn’t a fan art, it was created from a “flaunt/vaunt” meme. After the Devs added “taunt” as a protect that doesn’t count as protect and “daunt” as a stun that doesn’t count as a stun people (especially Lemonsqueezy) started joking about what other “…aunt” words could be passives.
Lemon asked VKC if flaunt could be put into the game and VKC said if he does a voting thread and gets 50 votes then it will do. Official “Flaunt” petition. Please help get 50. It’s ended up with over 100 likes! So then he and VKC designed how flaunt and vaunt would work mechanically. I think Lemon told me he didn’t do the rest of the design, so VKC went and created a monster that was all about the number of monsters in each team. They made it a Moji monster because that’s the community meme monster.
There are many other monsters in the game with either a move or most of the moveset designed by people in the community. However, the monsters usually have the designer’s spin on things.
So you can either do artwork, a moveset concept or particular moves and all will have a chance to go into the game. They take inspiration from us, but you should never expect your things to be selected because only a small number are.

• So far, my idea is to create a girl with white hair and red eyes 
• Her element would be “Light” 
• Some of the skills I’d like to include (just as a personal idea) are:
• Firstborn
• Motherly Bond
• Of course, this is just my personal opinion and suggestion 
• I can’t reveal much more yet — I’d be spoiling everything! 
• Please look forward to my design, which will be ready by July 17 this month 
• Just having my effort noticed would mean the world to me! 
• I really hope you like it!

• It’s taking me some time because I’m a perfectionist, and I love adding lots of detail to my creations

I don’t believe any of those were from the community. The only one which has a story is Handsnake, which was posted on this forum years ago by VKC as artwork that was commissioned but then rejected for being too grotesque. Originally it had an anchor tattoo on it, meaning to be a pirate’s arm that had been chopped off I think.
