PvP champions cup is a joke

I don’t expect to beat these guys I’m saying I shouldn’t have to vs them 90/100 times
I can’t use timestrike most of the time because the stronger monsters can use under 100 second skills that kill my monsters.
Like protector or sleep killer.
If I can set up kill chains with luxking via timestrike then blood crave that would be nice. But he dies instantly from sleep kill.
And I only have cost left for a 1 monster. Which gets more use for me from being throw ammo and setting up bloodcrave chains
There should a barrier between skill lvls.
Let me ask again.
Do you think where your at now should be allowed to play new players. All I want is a few wins to get gems and get good monsters
No-one once said that a new players should be able to beat veterans

Who else will you play? There aren’t a lot of players at your level.

I will also tell you that there are egg events in the game where if you do 50 gems worth of eggs, you will get a guaranteed legendary. I forgot to mention this. This is a major part of not having the game be P2W.

Simple solution to sleep killer: don’t evolve your throwers. They do enogh damage already in second form and can sweep. One on one makes the weak to sleep killer. While sometimes you do want them to have one on one, sometimes you don’t, so next time you get a monster with that moveset, don’t evolve it.

So far when I’ve played there have been three egg events and they only say 6 times better chance to get a legendary. But then it also says on the 6th try guaranteed to get a legendary. I don’t have 300 gems to ensure I get a legendary.
Are the egg events advertised on the news tab so I can know to save up

Not taking about those, there are events where you do 50 gems and you 100% will get a legendary, a random one. Last one was on Christmas.

Next one I think will be valentines

Do I have to trian all 6 sweet trolls to get the final evolution. Cause this is gonna take 1 month just to get age fruits for him. And I can’t trainmmore than 1 at a time

You only have to train one to 100%. The others take 28-30 training sessions to evolve. It takes a month to get the final form, but you can get the second form almost immediately.

This is turn based strategy with a hint of RPG. Those are grinding games. If you played Skyrim, think stabbing the gray beards in the back for a solid nonstop hour to get 100 sneak.

These games reward/almost require grinding.

28 -30 at least means I don’t need de age fruits. That just leaves another 300 tickets to get enough morslemons.
I can get grinding but when it feels forced or especially long, or like u hit a wall then it’s a thorn poking u every time.

Depends on how lucky you are. It’s worth it tho. An overwatch stun absorber is super valuable. Desperate bite after overwatch let’s him regain health immediately and he has life flip friend so he can recover himself or your sweeper after a devastating AOE attack. Life flip also makes him really useful for dungeon challenge.

Ah, the good old days torturing shadowmere to get 100 arcery

Haha poor shadowmere. I lost mine somewhere and he never returned home.

sadly I can’t even beat rookie on the final dungeon. I got new monsters but need tons of de age fruits, have been using all my tickets to find these. Hopefully it stays for a while until I can get my new monsters to 5 stars

It’ll take a while to be good enough. I didn’t even try to take on morselmon or chronox for a couple of months with my first account. Second account I started just before the end of the NY fest so I could grind 50 gems and snagged a Grov and Sleeper cat so I could take Morsel and Chronox within 2 weeks. Save for Valentine’s day and get more legs. Once you have a couple the world is your oyster. Plus you’ll certainly get a couple good super epics hopefully. Also as soon as you get a Moalith get a Galvbane. It will do wonders. I find my Galv every bit as useful as most of my Legs.

And yes I realize the irony of telling you to get chronox and morselmon to compensate for a lack of legs. It’s doable. TBH theres just a steep curve for the first 2 months in this game. Luckily your starting just as a major festival starts so you’ll overcome thay curve quickly. Imagine if you started in March and had to wait 5 months before your first guaranteed festival.

I allready got chronox. Just a question of waiting for starskies
But I did look up the rare island monsters and got all of them including noxar
Chronox dungeons are cool. For me at least it only took about 10 tries for all 4 sections

Glad to see you on the rise. I only just found this thread and read through the posts. The first couple of months in the game are pretty rough and it may feel like a P2W game but if you’re patient and save up your gems for the good festivals with guaranteed legendaries then it’s not too long before you can make a team able to beat a lot of the PvE content.

PvP is always going to be the toughest part of the game to rise high. When you start out in the game you’re going to face mostly people you can’t beat, because you’re literally among the weakest people and there isn’t a big enough player base for you to always meet others who started at the same time as you. I would advise retreating from anyone who looks unbeatable and grab a few wins off those you can actually fight. Or otherwise just ignore PvP for now.

The legendary you have… Shadowhunter… is among the most useful PvE legendaries for the way it can sleep enemies very effectively and has hold ground. Sleep lasts 320s! You can use the sleep to make it more like a 4v3 or 4v2 battle, or to heal Shadowhunter and charge the bloodthirst move. Learning to use the monsters you have is the only way you can truly get far in the game.

I hope you can enjoy yourself here and be patient enough to build your team. I’m a full free player and been around for about 1.5 years. I have nearly 50 legendaries and can compete at the top level in every part of the game. It can be done, it just takes time and experience.

Isn’t sleep 300 tu?

I always thought it was 400.

I’m pretty sure it’s 300. A sleep bomb isn’t enough to charge 400s nova blast.

Its not 400 for sure, but i not sure if its 300 or 320. I tend toward 300 tho

Ah yeah, you’re right. I know it IS enough to get Death Sentence off though, so definitely at least 300.

I’m almost certain it’s 320s.

I have used Galliodragon and Stratustrike in my PvE front line for ages. Both have double survivor, charging in 300s from their first turn. Galliodragon is a bit faster than Stratu so can use double survivor well before the end of one-on-one if it gets woken up early. Stratu can also use double survivor before everyone else has woken up, which means sleep must be longer than 300s. However, if Stratustrike can use double survivor then you can almost guarantee the next monster in line will be awake for its turn.

The reason why I say “320” rather than another number is because conveniently that is the time for death sentence and bomb curse… it would make sense for these all to have the same number. It would also make sense for sleep to go on for very slightly longer than 300s so every survivor monster is properly charged after a one-on-one. If it was 300s exactly then a fast one-on-one monster may not charge a slow survivor monster. Making it 320s means this will happen much less.
