Can you link the discussion, id be interested if it actually has any relevance to this. I would really just like to see a good argument as to why this is bad. I just see it as great way for company to secure sustainable income without relying on whales.

I asked for 7S tickets x3 for all costumers, instead of a guaranteed mythic.

To everyone who thinks what devs are doing right with paid gems ,I would recommend to take a look at Pokemon duel , there was somewhat balance between both sides for quite a long time but 4 5 months back they decided to change the schema by selling packs of monster like a pass and now the game is finish.devs officially announced that game would be not getting any updates and besides players who already have it,no one would be able to download it

Tbh itâs just people freaking out that something like this will happen and itâs a sign the game is going in a bad direction. Itâs probably more that than this one-time anniversary egg thing.
Every time something new with gem deals or eggs comes out and people freak, thinking itâs the sign of the game going in a bad direction. So far the Devs have never done something crazy so Iâd take this for what it is now and we should throw up a fuss if they do bad things with the paid gems. When they have done something we donât like the community has made a fuss and theyâve gone back on it like the âstep upâ gem deals, cost overhaul of 4*/5* monsters and Neo Monsters 2 (now Evertale and NM is continuing to have proper support and development).

I can agree on that if itâs only for anniversary, I just wanted to share this because i have seen it happening in past. A 60 - 40 for p2w-f2p is fine but anything which even signals huge gap between them creates such fuss and anxiety among everyone not only f2p.i apologize if I did something new pretty new here so donât know the rules and stuff
They did release mythics and lowered their cost last update. I would say that is pretty bad for the game in the long run.
That is exactly it for me. I donât care about the half price gems. That is fair. I am jealous of the free ticket though. I admit and that hurt a little.
My concern is what the future holds. Like you said though probably premature and best to take it as it is.
Before the release of mythics there were some rumblings from players about legendaries being a little too easy to get. If a powerful new monster was released it was obtained by loads of people and seen everywhere, among other slight issues.
Mythics give long-term goals for people and require investments into particular monsters, especially via tickets. Their exclusivity also keeps them rare and the teams more diverse. They donât create a huge divide between P2W and F2P because the game keeps them in balance with the increased cost. However, it was found (and I theorised at the release of mythics) that the higher stats are not worth the +2 cost so itâs been reduced to +1 cost. Theyâre now basically better than legendaries for their cost but not by a large amount, itâs a far more respectable balance which rewards the spenders who have awakened mythics without giving them anything OP.

Yet* that is why I said in the long run. Right now, mythics arenât even close to being better than most S+ legendaries like magmarinus or cent, harleking is the only one so far to even get close to their power level. Even sakura nor is medusa was that great. We have yet to see a mythic (pretty much a boosted legendary which is why it is gonna be a problem imo) that can be run without a setup in term of monsters or TU to make your opponent go out of their way to kill other than harleking even he requires a little bit of setup.
Yet josuinho runs around with his 100% winrate and his billion mythics. It may not be P2W now, but it sure will be in the future. not to mention the cost reduction on them.

personally i would spend much much more money if the eggs had an option like the newcomewr egg(mythic gaurentee every 10 10-hatch) but only for paid gems, and by extension let us make as many pulls using paid gems as we wanted.

The main problem with paid gems there is nothing guaranteed you could end up paying 90$ and get absolutely nothing.
If it was something like first pack a mythic is always guaranteed when using paid gems and 10th pack also people will definitely spend alot
