During BQ:
My Orochi entered the field killing my ShiNa and she revived but next in line instead of in the spot.
if someone sticks a needle into you while you are sleeping you would wake up too - whether or not you were immune to whatever is inside the needle.
if you are sleeping and poisonous gas fills the room you would not necessarily wake up.
the difference is that one is happening to you and one is happening to the environment.
Toxic give turn affects a target. poison entrance affects the environment.
that said you may have a case for a single poison entrance affecting a sleeping poison immune monster as the entrance is affecting a single target. but the ones that poison multiple monsters on entrance are environmental entrance passives so its logical that they wouldn’t wake a sleeping poison immune.
sadly the more i think about this the more i think multiple poison entrances and poison gas type moves shouldnt wake any monsters regardless of immunity. it should just stack on top lol. but for the sake of the game i wouldn’t implement that ![]()
It would be more logical that way.
Btw if poison immune monsters can’t be targeted by double poison eater, why can sleep immune monsters be targeted by double dreamhunt?
Enough with the sleep immune buffs lol they had plenty monsters this year
Sleep immunity is trickier since it has two stages: insomnia - sleep immune. But I agree that it should be somewhat restricted too.
Insomnia is clear enough since they can be slept by your own monsters.
Also, I think it was a mistake to make double poison eater entirely unable to target poison immune monsters. Imo it should do the small damage that poison eater does on an enemy that isn’t poisoned.
Sometimes, when I enter the 4 guardian beasts and I encounter the starter, I don’t get it
That’s because each starter has a 60% apparition chance, after the first time you catch it
Strongly agree. It’s really annoying when all you want to do is something like remove stealth/shield.
Does Crimseias really need this nerf? The synergy with poison immune teammates has always been a nice positive of the move. It would be a shame to lose this.
The solutions are surely one of these two things:
But it has Pure Cure+ if you want to purify your monsters, Toxic Give Turn should not purify or remove shields from poison immune teammates. Just that.
Yup so you picked option 2 ![]()
In the end its not a nerf against crism - its a little nerf against poison imu mons and the bad side of the coin after they got a great buff in the last update ![]()
But this is also a buff to sleep when it is very much viable and strong rn. I don’t know if sleep needs anymore buffing ![]()
Thank you for the feedback on “Toxic Give Turn,” guys. We will not go down the route I mentioned above. We will either keep it as it is or make it not awaken sleeping poison-immune monsters.
You are probably right. Our options were very limited back then…
Yeah, currently if a monster with an instant revival skill is killed by an entrance skill, it revives next in line. This is also caused by the skill effect order change we made a couple of months ago. We will see what we can do.
Because they are 2 different skills.
Regarding the double/triple poison eater mechanic adjustment, we had a very stale poison end game meta before the change. We don’t want to revert to that anytime soon.
I understand that but surely making it able to target but unable to crit would have had the same effect?
Had this situation in Island Challenge multiple times and lost a few because of it: There are two enemy monsters left, the other one is poisoned and the other one is immune. I can’t even hit the poisoned enemy because I can’t target the poison immune monster. So is the poison immune monster supposed to protect the poisoned one in that way? After all if the other monster is poisoned, you’re supposed to be able to kill it that way!
Most double poison eater monsters have single target skills as well. I don’t see the issue.
I feel sorry for all of Asmodia Scorp Gazer enjoyers that their old as a tale endgame is not performing as it used to.
Awaken da gorgodrake and go back to it
Trust the purple🥴
There are monsters like A.S. Fokus that have a self damaging skill like bloodcrave. Sometimes you’ll lose by killing yourself in the process of using the single target skill.
For me the issue is that it’s completely illogical that a poison immune monster protects a non poison immune from that move. I think the change was not properly thought through, it was a quick and seemingly effective fix to the poison endgame problem, but unproblematic monsters suffer a lot from it.
I also generally dislike the untargetable mechanic, it’s just so hard to do properly. This is yet another instance where they didn’t think it through.
I did and used it total of 0 times.
