Hi, I noticed something during the balance trial.
My delugazer was asleep and I used crimseias poison give turn on him and he woke up even though he is immune to poison.
he shouldn’t have woken up
Well, it does work like that and I agree that it is dumb as hell, if it was asleep and poison entrance would come in it would be still asleep, but somehow poison GT wakes up sleeping monsters.

A retaliation by Isoldelle against another Isoldelle caused the game to freeze. In fact, the game does not appear in the history. My Isoldelle is supposed to have killed the other Isoldelle, and then revenge was activated? revenge when they are the last monster shouldn’t be counted, right? @Dev_VKC
Killerdog explained once how Toxic gt works: First it purifies the target, then poisons it and gives the turn. That’s why it woke up.

Then we have a wrong discription in german and in english .
They should put it into the info of the move because thats such an important detail to know
My Carmilla died, Lemon entered and the DR killed the last enemy. Game froze and then gave us both a draw @Dev_VKC

This is intentional, but we noticed that many players found it confusing.
We can make the skill unable to select poison-immune allies. Does that sound better?

If it’s intended, you could just add the “purifies the targeted ally” text? Why nerf him for no reason.

im all for a slight nerf, there are many good poison immune monsters atm, shouldnt get a turn and wake them
I must say I certainly did not expect a crimseias nerf to be in the works.

For me its the only logical turn .
Dont undestand me wrong i didnt use crim but if u think about it the mechanic couldnt work on poison imun like u update that poison eater couldnt hit posion imus
Either you add to the description of crim that he first heals then poisons and then transfers the move.
Because otherwise how is it possible to poison a posion imu so that it wakes up from sleep.

absolutely not. it’s an additional strategy people can utilize amd probably the best thing about the move. other than with detox strike or poison burst allies theres no other use for the move. i would just change the description to say also wakes sleeping monsters.
surely its easier to change the text than the code.
p.s not long ago people were suggesting crimseas buffs. i don’t think nerfing him is justifiable.

yet moves like poison touch still can hit. the difference is that moves like toxic give turn and poison touch APPLY poison whereas poison eater affects already poisoned ones.

I believe this was due to turn issues back in the day. Poison tick used to skip turns of sleeping mon, so despite being poisoned, they would not get the turn. @Dev_VKC is this assessment correct?
If you want to wake up poison immunes then you can use pure cure on him. Poison GT should not poison (and by that wake up) poison immune monsters. Poison entrance does not wake them up so I don’t get why poison GT should.
