Newcomers festival egg. It’s a limited monster (find it in a special egg where it is featured) which summons this ‘friend’ called Noxegg after dying and can be re-hatched from Noxegg.

If you are gonna safe it from f2p rewards it’s gonna be very tough

It’s actually very easy. After starting a new account, you can get 40 gems on your first day easily, a second pack after another 1-2 days and then even a third pack in a few more days. Of course it depends a bit on how long you play but if you know what you’re doing, it won’t take long!
After this though, your gem collection rate will slow a bit because you will hit a content wall if you don’t have access to some powerful monsters or strategies. However PvP rewards you a lot of gems and you’ll win games and get RP rewards under HR 100 quite easily too if you evolve your monsters and rank a bit up so you can at least run a full SE team.
