I still don’t understand why Devs can’t keep PvP permanently on and could just refresh the rewards every month or so. So you can test new Strategies or Monsters every Day and not only at the normal PVP. This makes a lot more fun. This Game need a permanently Pvp so bad.
While a permanent PvP would ne goos and is something that all games have now-a-days, i think the problem is the devs server. I think their potato server can’t handle it. Another issue is the rewards. Refresh them too soon and people will exploit it. Do it too late and the backlash for that will be… Well you know how we can be. A month is the sole way to go but do that and people who will play qill be getting ~10+ gems plus three rare gems and two legend pots every month. Combine it with the two free rare gems from login and you get one rare hatch every month. Those gems also sound good.
But if the devs do implement it no one would complain. Well maybe @Killerdog will but other than that everyone is happy. Then, for the monthly PvP event, they could do the Ranking PvP with increased (better?) rewards. That way everyone is happy. Well, you know, maybe except for @Killerdog. This way you can have both competitive PvP as well as grind PvP

Completely agree. It’s weird we don’t have weekly PvP. Lately been thinking of quitting because of this. Getting bored.
It’s like every other game has permanent PvP. It shouldn’t be an “event” but a part of normal gameplay. Other games are more generous with PvP rewards even though it’s permanent but the catch to that is intense competition and more people spending money. So people who don’t spend a lot miss out on the good rewards. It’s often ranked based rewards.
So with that in mind I rather a permanent PvP with only monthly rewards if that is the devs issue.
But most of those “other games” don’t have real time live pvp like neo. That’s one of the only reasons I’m still here because neo has it, and lots of other games don’t. If this ever becomes something implemented into the game i just hope it’s not a grind thing with rapidly filling tickets
I like how this game has duel PvP available almost 24/7, it’s great for the community and those who are PvP crazy. I think the way I play this game is different to lots of you… I play other games when I want to sit down and play for a few hours and this as an ongoing fun thing which I play more at times when there are grinding events.
Constant PvP would be fun. It’s hard to find a negative with it except surely the Devs had a reason to not include it if it was something they had in Hunter Island? My instinct tells me there simply isn’t the playerbase for it so we’d have matchmaking problems. Currently by restricting PvP to short periods it gets a lot more people playing it at that time. I don’t really know though.
If it were up to me I’d say do 5-day PvP events every 2-3 weeks.
We are planning to run a new ranking event called Seasonal PvP in the early/mid September after the small bugs fixing update releases.
This is sort of “permanent PvP”.
Seasonal PvP will be held every month.
1 season is around 3 weeks.
Ranking will kick in last week. (No ranking for first 2 weeks)
More VP and win rewards. Plus ranking rewards.
First season only special secret unique monster rewards.
These are the basic ideas. Please note that they are not finalized, may or may not be change in the future. And before seasonal PvP happens, we might schedule another short PvP event with some changes such as matchmaker and ranking see how it improves.
