Would you guys perhaps in the future like to see an increased level cap and how far would it go? To level 150 or even to 200? I thought of this just because of all these rank up events and super challenge battles all the XP gain is wasted if you’re already at 100. My idea for this is that when you get to 100 the level gap to gain extra cost and tickets are increased so that this time every (edit here) 20 levels you get an X increase in tickets or Y increase in team cost.
increasing team cost would make it possible to put more legendaries in a team… I don’t think thats a good idea for the game balance.
I would rather have them implement a system where rank stays the same but you can gain a “Bonus” basically after an X amount of exp you gain a “Bonus” that refills your tickets or increases total tickets and refills your tickets.
that way expierience is not wasted plus balance is not affected.
I know what you’re saying but the way we could put it to make it balanced is like this. Increasing cost can come between every 20 levels only increasing it by 5 cost each time and lets for instance get the cap on 200, that would mean you would only get a 25 cost increase when you reach max, enough for only 1 or 2 legends to be added in. Given the sheer amount of grinding you would have to do to get to 200 i would say that’s pretty balanced, and it would be well earned too IMO

I think there should be something added for after 100, but I don’t want cost increased. It’s not broken so don’t try to fix it. But I have no idea what kind of benefit we could have that isn’t ridiculous.
173 is there for a reason. 200 cost means you can put 15 Legendaries in a team. Not smart.
27 extra cost doesn’t mean 2 more legends. It means how many epics and SEs can you replace with legends (which is only 3 or 5 more cost each).
Tickets refill when you reach a certain amount of exp sounds good.
no1 needs tickets at level 100 +, gem for each level past 100 would be fine.
not true, half the events still use tickets. You can actually finish SotF without buying any gems using only the event gems and one rank up if you lose only 10 times total. Without the rankup, you only have a 3-4 win leeway, assuming you never cap tickets. This also requires you to have full tickets when the event releases, else it’s impossible to finish without a rankup or buying additional gems.
with the gem you can refill aswell.
I guess now we can agree that maybe vamping up cost was a bad idea, my bad on that part. But I think increasing level cap to get more tickets would be fine. Especially for events like SotF and stuff like that which require a lot of tickets
Edit: I guess what I really want to say is that we should find a way to put all this xp towards something. Another idea I was pondering was what about rank up rewards for every 25 or 50 levels you get like 5 gems
Or also they could decrease the cooldown for every ticket each level ( I mean, every level it would take like 10 seconds less to have a ticket, so you’ll have to wait 9:50 instead of 10) this could be cool mostly for sotf
I think without messing the game up too much using Exp to gather “Rank ups for ticket refill only” to probably be the best way to use experience points that would otherwise go to waste.
anyway that’s more of a bonus thing anyway. nice to see it implemented but i’d rather have the developers focus on PvP at this moment.

What is the point of that? All that accomplishes is gating content to longer playing players. That only causes people to become annoyed and angry.

The game doesn’t gain anything by gating content to max levelled players though. This isn’t an MMORPG. As there are no vanity items in-game, prizes would be potions and mons. And PvP needs to be balanced, so that would never happen, because now you have completely f2p content which people will bring to PvP that is inaccessible to the majority of the player base.
It makes much more sense to just release content that’s difficult to defeat without having an experienced team to select from and high cost. At least that way there will be a variety in what people can come up with to defeat it if they are “under level”. But that still needs to be done carefully so that it’s not near impossible without being max cost.
