One skill have the same case of shikabloom before with not having a direct description what does that skill do

Yeah like what is DoubleLoadShellPG?

Knowing this game thats probably a code for double load mortar

Thank you for reporting!
It should be fixed after restarting the game.

Not quite strong as CW

I feel like Posiedon should get a buff for its passives, all these new bosses have a passive that affects their allies but not him

Yeah this guy is instant meta like ED for low to mid bracket teams and can be troublesome to some high tier mythic teams. A gravity field that can’t be gotten rid with remover, 80+ speed hellfire blast or catabult for 42TU, and low cost SE with hp boost is good enough why they are good.

Enjoy this while you can (I will!) because I believe a nerf is coming.

Nah it’s not as bad as Keiser or Calamitas. No defensive passives and despite the full defensive stats, fairly easy to deal with.

The defensive passive is that it doesn’t die. You can try to control it but it’s really getting its value by being on the field and you need void to kill it (or moves like revenge sealer). Keiser level for low to mid teams (like I said before) and 100% better than current Calamitas teams vs mythic/high tier teams.

I don’t agree. The PGs are inherently less oppressive and more balanced than EDs and CWs were because they don’t do Elfin Rally shenanigans and Obelisk can be targeted and doesn’t summon 6 more PGs after you kill them. Also they don’t have a lot of void piercing and don’t gain taunt like CWs do.

What makes cw good is that there boss can get rid of them and allow entrance and they can get rid of each other too, plus void and piercing

Agreed. He’s pretty good alright, but I doubt they’ll nerf the design. PGs have fewer avenues for pulling shenanigans.

Playing with him in the SCB, my guess is that for PvE use, the best strategy will be to keep 1 PG on your side at all times (maybe stick them every other slot in reinforcements), to capitalize on his constant rebirth and use of Xeno beam. I dunno how viable it will be in pvp, but I imagine neromid will be crucial to keeping the PGs around.

I also doubt his SS will be worth turning on, considering he wants to be killed + revived to heal and charge Xeno beam… Protecting him feels counterproductive.

I do like that he doesn’t become completely useless after all the PGs have been killed, though. Probably A or S- tier?

where’s the poll for looks and strength?? i think he looks awesome. originally thought he was gonna be a mythic based on his skin colour

Okay, so the good. Blessing mortar is pretty strong, and revenge is also very good. It’s vengeance only needs a PG to die this battle to crit, so as long as one dies, it is viable long after all the other PGs die, which is more than what I can say for the SEs. Double PG load is nice. Grav field prevents disruption from turning aforementioned SEs into deadweight later on.

The 200% boost is massive. Red and Green can murderize anything, Blue outputs enraged-novadrake numbers. And given that half of them don’t have your typical killer weaknesses, that means they stay pretty long in the frontline.

Now for the bad. No stun or sleep protection…suboptimal, will need to outsource. Pink and Blue SOLO moves disabled, their real strength is the mortars now so it’s fine(an 80% speed knockback was pretty good though). Getting killed resets mortar, prone to being juggled, acceptable as the enemy is wasting resources. A hit all move? Really? That looks like prime space for a breaker move(like every other PG). Revenge breaker would be lovely if the devs deem him too weak.

Does he make them worth using? Maybe. PG load mortar being longer than the mortar itself still makes it awkward to coordinate. Obelisk himself being 65% isn’t doing them any favors either. Many of them become crippling deadweights without another PG die so a backbiter is still needed. He fixes their problem of an insufficient payoff, but not the other problems, the lack of protection, and awkward use. Mortars are conditionless, powerful moves though, so idk. They’ll be strong, but not super competitive.

My take: pretty pyraMID. Which given the track record of CWs and EDs, is probably for the best. I’ll still use him. I love mortars.

He will join their ranks soon.

@dev_vkc . True there are some design issues with this guy

Already he does not have soldier summoning skills like the other sovereigns which means that without pd he will no longer be able to do anything . This SS is a useless gadget that is a stain on the design, try to make it so that it can summon pg instead of novablast

It conflicts with two other pg namely blue and the sacred (the first because of kb and the second because of solo) can you try to see if you can remove this solo restriction on them? They are not even moves game changer to be restricted and also something other than the gravitational field is something that makes it immovable only pg

All the other pg have hg and he doesn’t, it should be remedied and maybe a passive immunity to stun for the pg none of them manage the stun or in other archetypes can

Also just realize this is the only boss monster that doesnt have a skill to summon one of its underlings

It’s also the first boss since poseidon that stay good even when all his underlings are dead. If you keep comparing him to old bosses, you will be late to the party on his power level. The only comparison there is that this is a legendary boss with its SE underlings (low cost FL menace)

I agree with the solo moves need redesigning on two monsters: holy and water, and SS being completely useless.

Like you can’t tell me you played against someone who knows what they were doing with PGs nd they needed a buff still.

Calamitas has a 55TU bloodlust and still is tanky with camouflage, poison and stun immunity.

Also, you say you foresee a nerf but void does wonders to keep this in check and the reliance on outside support to get protection from stun/sleep plus how it really wants at least 2 P.G. teammates to allow double load to work puts it in a fairly narrow spot for team building that ultimately means it’s much harder to make a broken setup. There’s no oppressive game mechanic in play here, it’s just buffed stats or a revenge that you have to overcome. Piercing and void are plentiful enough that you can take that on fine.
