I’ve been playing with P.G.s quite a lot lately (even before this PvP rule). They are my favorite Super Epic cycle in the game by far, and given all the time I spent trying them out, I’d like to propose a few tweaks to make them even more hype:
P.G. Vivimid (holy): Full Def -> Rounded
This P.G. is very good… against other Super Epics. Put it against Legendaries and the damage will be so poor that the monster just won’t pull its weight no matter how well you build around it.
I’m not saying it should one shot defensive Legendaries, but given the amount of build around P.G.s need and their heavy risk of becoming deadweight, it should take out offensive ones.
P.G. Gaiamid (earth): Load Mortar -> P.G. Load (on a shiny)
Gaiamid is cool, and I understand some people might like it the way it is, but I’ve tried it with other P.G.s and it completely breaks the rhythm.
My idea would be to create a shiny version with the same moveset and element but Load Mortar changed into P.G. Load. I believe this would make everyone happy.
Hell, I wouldn’t be opposed to a shiny version of every other Pyramid Golem with Load Mortar either!
P.G. Lavamid (fire): Poison All Revenge -> Poison Gambit Revenge
I understand that Lavamid is already the best P.G. out there, but I don’t think such a small change would make it too strong, especially given what is already out there. Besides countersynergies among monsters made to work together are never a good look.
A support Pyramid Golem is welcome, and the healing is a very good idea on paper given HG, but in reality you’re almost never going for it, leaving Neromid as a high speed loader for the other golems.
With Cannibalize Mortar this monster would be key to the P.G. strategy as he could eat the last P.G. and charge SOLO Bloodcrave, mitigating the massive deadweight downside with some farsight. The healing theme wouldn’t be lost, and he’d even be more element appropriate!
Soramid wasn’t included as I believe it’s mostly designed to build around One on One and P.G.s at the same time, which I haven’t tested yet. Banamid is perfect.
I think Vivimid is better off rounded or standard defence. Hellfire Mortar Double has been buffed so much it’s scary, if she was anything more than rounded she’d be too destructive.
Gaiamid needs a rework but purely for design purpose. Why should he be the only egotistical azhole that doesn’t P.G. Load?
His active moveset could be:
Dreambreaker
Catapult Mortar
P.G. Load
SOLO Summon Minions (80sec)
Lavamid is strong but I don’t feel like he needs Poison All Revenge to hold back the whole archetype. I know a Poison revenge effect is needed, but it’d be cool if it had Explosive Revenge All instead.
Cannibalize Mortar is very hype, but on a SOLO Bloodcrave monster it’s a lot… Maybe give it Wallbreaker/Chronobreaker Mortar?
Yeah, I think it’s good. I like the extra effort to keep it in line with the newer golems.
There should still be a version with the old moveset though.
Wouldn’t be in line with the other P.G.s though. It would be fun if the devs decide to make more of them like they did with Abyssoldiers, but otherwise I’d keep the consistency. Besides it’s not like Lavamid needs it.
It would be awsome though if the devs made a whole new cycle with entrances and revenge alls:
Death Entrance - Death Roulette Revenge
Aggressive Entrance All - Explosive Revenge All
Stunning Entrance - Stun Revenge

Bloodcrave is exactly why Cannibalize would work so well, otherwise Neromid couldn’t mitigate the deadweight issue in the first place.
Remember that you’d have to sacrifice a P.G. Load to a more offensive golem for this, so it requires some planning forward with tus and stuff. A good way to reward smart play!
Besides a breaker move would probably be stronger. Not a bad idea at all if they plan on making more golems though!
You know, I think it’s necessary. It’s to make P.G.s as strong as Neromid more risky to run. I think that’s acceptable, plus, if they release new P.G.s, I bet there’ll be one with Confident Strike that will benefit from Healing Mortar. Hoping for new P.G.s (_ )
Neromid is not that good though. High speed loading is what keeps him afloat, but besides that if the opponent doesn’t run Holy the monster is completely useless.
Honestly that’s the change I like most as it rewards planning ahead, but to each his own I guess.

I agree Vivimid needs just a bit more attack. Like you say, it does well against other SEs but against legendaries it isn’t killing enough. Rounded might even be too much (it will do the same damage as Tricranium) but Full Defence is definitely a bit too low.
Gaiamid definitely needs a rework to fit with the others, or a shiny (nice idea with that).
Lavamid completely agree of course.
Neromid I actually like a lot how it is. Yeah, healing mortar might not feel as high impact as the others but it fits the design of them all beautifully given they have HG and Nero is meant to be the support P.G. which has sweeping as a backup option if it meets any holy. Also, healing lets it recover from the recoil from bloodcrave. While in practice it might not feel like what you want I think the monster itself is fine and for the design it’s a perfect fit with the moves it has.
ye I usually learn the movesets and stat distributions of the new monsters so I don’t mess up against them but I still don’t know what most of them do lol. just goes to show how bad they are all I know is the yellow one has hellfire double mortar, the blue one has dreamcrush, and the red one has poison all revenge.

And I think that Vivimid should be standard defence statline. Hellfire Mortar Double can OHKO the majority of standard defence super-epics and omeshots basically all full attack 6★s and the fastest standard attack 6★s. Rounded would really make it a real killing machine.
I can relate with that. Wasn’t playing when some of the P.G were released and haven’t bothered learning their movesets. I think I might have lost a game against KD because of it.
