porque no dan una segunda oportunidad a esos jugadores que tienen el nombre bloqueado?,hay muchas personas que se ponen nombres bloqueados sin darse cuenta , y estoy seguro que hay muchas cuentas antiguas con nombre bloqueado y sus dueños quisieran cambiarle el nombre

I’ve never had any issues with nicknames. If the people who thought to be funny and put an offensive nickname cared enough about that, they wouldn’t have done it in the first place. So I think it’s a “you get what you deserve” situation.

Be happy that you still get to actually play the game and accept your punishment!

Are you speaking from personal experience? I don’t know anyone who got their name blocked… So the name clearly needs to be offensive for that to happen.

Yeah, i am confused too. You lost your name and now your new name is User5739?? and you can’t change your name anymore?

I know a few cases like account shareing and offensive names have permanently had the name change function locked

I know it happend to NML Smile and GTO Mr Loki who both used offensive names for a wile and had that function locked

And I feel like I remember VKC mentoning that account shareing if caught would result in the same punishment, I could be misremembering that tho

I never agreed to do a permanent lock on names, I gave my opinion about this several times, because it just doesn’t make any sense.

Of course using offensive names should be punished and actions should be taken, but never forever.

My guide would be a block of a specific time, maybe a 3 month block for the 1st offense and one year block at 2nd and following.

I clearly remember the Loki situation, where a very young person used a sensitive name of matters that he might not even fully and globally understand, from a cuban boys side of view and just thinking of it be a funny joke.

The developers could also use a blocklist in the first place, like many other game developers are using.

There are many ways, but a permanent lock is never a good solution.

We do not permanently ban player names for using offensive terms. Such cases typically result in a suspension of 3 to 6 months.

However, we do issue permanent name bans for shared accounts. If an account is found to be accessed from an unusually high number of different devices, it may be permanently banned without prior notice.
