Element does not require your other same element monsters at field , it is a independent moveset,
Where link needs 3 monsters of same element,
If Midas had element TT, then there is no difference between lavaronix, mecha & Midas, just mere technicalities .
I mean he only gives turn to light monsters. Maybe I read it wrong

If midas got element TT then that means all holy monsters on your side of the field would get a turn. So it would be different to lava/mecha TT and wouldn’t be restricted by the link requirement.
