New Balance Changes (Update Ver.2.58)

It would have been really ridiculous if it could push back to the back of the team, but it’s random, so it’s perfectly justified. When you use it, you literally have to pray that it pushes the target as far as possible, but sometimes it only pushes back a little.

Did boxchomps get nerfed?

Yeah i feel it got nerfed too, the damage from the boxes is alot weaker than before

We did not touch this monster.
Its skills and the damage they deal should be the same as previous version.

I think so too. The damage of Boxchomp summoned by Pandora remains the same. Boxchomp summoned by Rihonoel is much lower. You can test it and it will be clear.

Not to be rude or anything but why are these updates so boring and never really seems to target problem monsters, Astra is still here loud and proud death immunity on something that revives so many times is ridiculous, Morti is the same and Alyce her passive deactivates after 2000 sec like which battle is lasting that long with all these over powered monsters, they hardly last long enough for Gabrielle to use her Secret Skill which no one uses and another thing with Alyce isnt her ultra evolve form the same as her awaken but without the SS they should give her the Twin 150sec mega bomb or something. Then there is Majorie getting buff for months and there are other mythics that has never been touch

Another thing that is not related to the update are these boring special rule that are almost the same, i had hopes when they did the blast from the past but it seems that its the same every other month and every team has Calamantis or whatever and there is no other monster that im soooooooo tired of seeing

I believe Knockback Random is much stronger than Knockback and you’re crazy for thinking otherwise :stuck_out_tongue:

Knockback is good for disrupting throw moves, but otherwise KBR is way better to mess up the enemy team’s composition by putting things into random places. It’s basically halfway between repulse and knockback where doing it on things with charged blood moves, tokens, link monsters, etc. is way better and you don’t have the struggles of repulse where sometimes you need to target something but you need a bit more breathing room before it enters again.

If you’ve been lucky enough to own Bastia I’m sure you’d agree. KBR is the ultimate version of all the repulse and knockback variants.

Instant KBR was always the biggest selling point of Onyxia. After they buffed Onyxia lots then it didn’t need instant KBR any more but obviously 1 → 160TU was an insane increase and it would be nice to have at 70TU or something so we can still feel the power of it.

Actually, I prepared a team thinking that I could make a video about this for YouTube on SP, but I canceled it because I was busy. However, before I delete the team, I am sharing the damage of Sub Zero Punch skill for those who are curious.

No that is not what it does. The skill is above in the thread if you wanna see.

It becomes active when a monster that has both rock and water types is on the field. That’s why the number of monsters that activate it is small and generally AP ones.(It doesn’t work when there is a rock monster and a different water type monster. Both attributes must be on the same monster.)
