NeoMonsters Tournament: Order 67

Hey everyone, happy to announce a new joint community tournament with both Neo Monsters forum and discord for the first time.
To make the competition fair and engaging for everyone, we’ve implemented placement-based restrictions that add both strategy and uniqueness to team building.

6767 RULE

  1. To use an awakened mythic (7*) it must be paired with a 6* Legendary in a 6-7-6-7 structure only.
  2. A team may contain at most TWO " 6767 " groups (one is mandatory) The positioning of the two groups can be decided by the users anywhere in the team but make sure the order in the group should only be 6-7-6-7 and not 7676 / 6677 / 7667 etc.
  3. The mythics used in one group of 6-7-6-7 should not be released in the same year …

Important: In case u don’t own 2 awakened myths u are required to use at least 2 second form myths to form one complete 6-7-6-7 structure. For the rest of the team u are free to use any mons (6 to 0 stars including 2nd form myths)

Now to make things balanced we are also adding a couple of more restrictions

1)The number of awakened myths to use is capped at 4 (do note the positioning is important and it should follow the 6767 rule)
2) Only 4 mons of the same family are allowed in a team (1 boss + 3 SE / 4 mons)
3) No same archetype entrances are allowed back-to-back, but u can use them at alternate positions.

For example,
(Sleep entrance - sleep entrance) Is not allowed but
(Token - sleep - token) Is allowed

Restricted types of entrance by the above rule
(Sleep , poison , roaring , stun , tokens only)

This is done to prevent entrance spam which is very common nowadays to create a fresh environment overall.

As for the rewards the devs team have agreed on some gems distributions for the top 3 players and from our side u will also get a custom role unique only to you on discord.
The matchups will be done in a single elimination format, entries are open till Tuesday.

Update 1: Mortilys and the new flower (mortilys counterpart) is banned in the tournament

If this tournament is released , the gen-z people will go mad. I don’t want to see the forum flooded with 67 threads.

The idea is quite interesting though! I think I’ll try that combination!

After almost two years from my retirement, im glad to say that ill be playing this tournament, just to have fun and see if i can comeback fulltime

Hmm. Maybe its my time to return to the neo stage…

Lol gonna be fun working out which year monsters were released. Also by family are you referring to type? Or are you talking about dev made teams like CWs? (Im guessing the latter). Also are the mojis a family? XD

do Pupupa count as 2nd form mythics?

No, and about the first question yeah its just CW, PG, JELs etc.
Anyways let me know if we should restrict both mortilys and the new blight flower

Didn’t ask for my opinion but you’ll get it anyway… YES

They will likely be meta-warping and probably not what you want to have happening in the tournament
