Update :
Due some confusion, I decided to add this section to briefly explain the “Continents”.
The Continents are just a fun idea to give the Tournaments a name and somewhere to “Virtually” host the specific tournament. They do not directly affect the tournaments, nor do they handicap anybody from a specific country etc. During each Tournament, everyone will abide to the same ‘Tournament Rules’, no matter where you are from.
So for example:
The Oceania (Australia & NZ) Continent will “host” the 4 monster tournament. ALL participating players will thus need to create a team that consists of only 4 monsters to be used in the Tournaments, even if you are not from Aus/NZ etc.
The special rules are there to try and make the event a bit more interesting and to give some more players a chance to test skills and perform well.
If someone needs some information or is still not quite sure about any of this, please feel free to PM me and I will try and provide some more details.
Thanks again to all for showing so much interest in this. It’s good to see the community still showing passion for the game

I made a post some time ago around various options for the Friendly PvP system: http://www.hunterislandforum.com/index.php/topic/19793-what-friendly-pvp-could-be/. Recently, the F2P clan as well as other individuals have been organizing various tournaments which got me thinking about how I can make this bigger to involve more players.
And so the Neo Monsters World Tour was born. My initial thoughts were to create a Neo Monsters World Cup, but that simply just meant anther “standard” tournament. So how we make this bigger and more entertaining?
The idea came from the HBC World Sevens Rugby format, which hosts multiple tournaments in various hosting cities. Teams are given points based on their results and at the end of the tour, the team with the most points is declared the champion. So based on that I decided to break the World Tour down as follows:
- Players will represent their designated country and any points gained during the World Tour will be allocated towards their countries total count.
- Players are given points based on tournament results. The breakdown will be detailed below.
- Seven different tournaments will be hosted in the 7 different continents (Yes, I know nobody lives in Antarctica, but I just didn’t want to discriminate :D )
- Players do not need to participate in every tournament, but note that if that is the case, you automatically forfeit your match(es) in that tournament.
- Each tournament will have special rules, except one which will be standard PvP (which Antarctica will host ;)).
- Players from each continent/country can decide what the special rules are or if players wish, I can decide what the special rules will be (Let me know your thoughts)
- Each Tournament will last no longer than 2 weeks. Nobody really likes waiting around for their fights, so we need to try and finish these as quickly as possible. If you or your opponent is not reachable for 2 days straight, they forfeit their match.
- Tournaments will be Single Elimination only, so if you lose once, your out.
- First Tournament’s bracket will be randomized, there after brackets will be created based on previous tournament’s results.
- Points will also be awarded to any Clans that the players represent, but this is more for fun.
Points Breakdown
#1 - 10 Points
#2 - 8 Points
#3 - 6 Points
#4 - 4 Points
#5 - 2 Points
#6-#10 - 1 Point each
So only top 10 will earn some points.
These are just some of my initial thoughts for now, but any and all feedback is welcome.

I know quite a few ppl mentioned in the Forum as well as LINE that they wish to participate, but due to amount of messages in both I decided to create the sheet to keep track of this.
If anybody is having any issues with this, please let me know or if you know of a better way to track this.
