Do you have screenshot? From what we see here, it always says 3 kills.
Did you possibly mistake it with the second form?

Lol what??? @Dev_VKC you got some explaining to do bc in the dictionary Lethal means dead and alot of DR like Rhynobrawl deal Lethal Damage when they die and it always kills or puts the target to 1hp bc of Hold Ground, so how are we increasing the Lethal damage here??

Lethal damage just means extremely high damage.
More charge = more lethal damage. This matters in some PvE events where enemies have insanely high HP.

I did some testing against some little woolies (I’m sorry). Here’s some numbers with Starfiend’s Energy Spike.
Context: Energy Spike does lethal damage to an enemy and damage increases with amount of charges. Normally 1 charge is plenty to kill anything outside superbuffed content.

1 Charge: 22 280 damage
2 Charges: 48 778 damage
3 Charges: 69 128 damage
Bonus 10 charges to see if there is a cap at 3: 271 867 damage.
