the tier is wrong in my opinion, you never took into account how easy she is to charge with how the damage tick counts towards a kill for her, and because of that even if they kill your water dragons chances are she is already charged before her first turn and then its game on she kills whatever she wants, you also never took into account how the revege is permament, just like a fermata which makes her very diffecult to kill.
I took both into account. I did want to highlight the revenge passive more in what I wrote but itās too easy to get into a ramble. Double bloodthirst isnāt exciting on a mythic though, right?
a double kill move might not be the most exciting of moves but its damn effective and that is what pvp is about no?
and yeah it is easy to get into a ramble but it being a permament effect should still be highlighted, remember how much people hated nyx on its release? now you have that but on a revenge with no death sentence to stop it. its just a forever thing excellent for controll
Im quite a newbie got lucky and pulled Albion. Then, saw he is so high in PVP may I know why? And is awaken is so critical I wonāt really use him?
Albion is in tier 3 for second form, meaning itās nowhere near as powerful as when awakened.
What makes it so high for PvP is the move that turns an enemy into a protector. Thatās a guaranteed kill on whatever enemy you like and sets up all sorts of synergy for teammates that punish protectors (true hit, etc). The move is only 90TU and Albion is good speed, high defence and hold ground so itās hard for the opponent to stop. The move can be used twice, plus Albionās fast attacks are pretty good too and that all leads into double bloodthirst. So basically itās incredibly reliable in the way it plays.
For it to truly shine, you need the synergy for countering protectors. So itās not anything crazy for newer players even when awakened. I hope this explains how it all works though.
Considering it does like 3k damage after just one kill, and technically is also piercing due to her passive. Itās one of the easier stuff to charge
How is a monster that is the 2nd most used last PVP and probably will remain like this is this PVP a D tier monster?
Daji is an S+ in PVP and pve and probably the strongest monster to get a buff in the 10 years of neo monsters.
She is not. She is popular because she has 2 mirror revenges and can easily deal with problematic high defense / revenge monsters. She is clunky and can blow back on you easily.
what? well then that would mean less and less people will use it, and this is not happening.
everyone who has her is using her, or most and i do not think all of these people are stupid and do not know how to play the game.
the buff for Daji was a madness.
developers of a game buffing a monsters that is a top 10 most used in pvp and its even better in pve while other monsters warm the bench for years.
I mean, most people just slap her in any team and just spam the SS and dajiās whim, itās not exactly the brightest of playstyles I have seenā¦
The amount of times I have seen someone build around her I can count on 2 hands
She is nowhere in higher brackets. She is a better Anni mythic than the other one so of course she is extremely popular at this moment. Do you remember what was happening after Charybdia release? ![]()
Also @Killerdog now that Iām in this thread, move mobysseus up! Lil dude is awesome now ![]()
She was among the most used by the top 100 in the last two seasons.
However, I definitely agree with the sentiment from Coltraz and Purpleheart. As I wrote on the forum a while back⦠the first 30 times I met her she was not helpful for my opponent at all and often backfired.
Since then Iāve met her a few times where sheās played well, but itās rare. Post buff sheās definitely stronger, which is why I kept her in D tier rather than move her to F tier. I can also completely understand if people are mis-playing against her enough that she does well in many battles. Mirror revenge has always underperformed in PvP and Daji literally gives the opponent 1HP monsters to gift.
I intend to try her out in PvP myself to get a proper idea of how opponents are playing against her.
This is what Iāve seen too. Lots of odd placement and questionable decisions with her moves. The number of times Iāve seen her at the back of peopleās teams is silly. Thatās where you can most easily leave her for last if needed.
I gave it a big boost already. Where do you think it should sit? Being tied very directly to other mortar monsters made it hard to pick the exact tier
Itās hands down the best legendary now for Frontline.
I know~ I just think itās one of the niche ones that desserves S- if not S tier, itās very self sufficient and shuts down a wierd amount of monsters wile setting up your entrences. Aswell as swallow mortar being absurdly powerful and easy to setup for void kills
I wouldent say it needs other mortar monsters to be player either, I have fucked around with him all season during rule and now in unranked without other mortars and more often than not I would consider him the winning factor in alot of my matches
I donāt really know, he just feels very strong in what he does
Azulyn now has the fastest Gravity field ignoring retribution/Vengeance setting up FL self sacrifice (probably fastest in the gameās history since Mortilys needs setup and has counters, this one has non). Her and one of the Giawolfās is an insane combo ![]()
Azulyn might be deserving of S- tier
85% speed step back⦠not sure if I thought about that when reviewing the buff update. I imagine itās a little annoying if it re-enters in under 100s from start of battle but itās high enough speed to just step back again. Instant stealth all is also great to have for the FL. Thanks for pointing it out!
Yeah I see in my tier list update I wrote that you wouldnāt want to use it generically, so I guess I didnāt think enough about how that might play and especially if it starts in the FL. Itās still a little slow to do the swallow mortar compared to a generic monster coming in that does something on the first turn but itās a void kill and it can mess with enemies using the remover/knockback so I can see how it will randomly do a lot in some battles.
Wasting a slot to bring in a celeshine amazing strategy could have used better monsters insted of wasting 10-23 cost in bringing in roaring entrences that would enter anyways
Edit: not trying to be rude so excuse my snark, it just feels like such a waste atleast from the teams I have seen doing it
I mean.compared to generic fast sweepers sure itās a bit slower but itās basicly a void kill in 100 ish seconds, so itās quite fast to act even if it needs a moment of setup
