Update
I’m making a few changes to how I manage the tier list. You may have noticed I’m doing more regular, small updates. The idea is I’ll break it down into more manageable changes that I can do faster and I can put new monsters into the tier list shortly after their release.
Here’s what’s also happening:
-
All tier list updates will be posted to a separate thread: Tier list change log. This is a locked thread purely for the changes, any discussion will continue here. You can read the first post for extra details.
-
The “General” tier list has been re-named to “PvE”. This has always been confusing for some people and I want it to be clearer. It was only called general because that’s how it was originally called before my time.
-
I intend to make a new section to the tier list “PvE vs Super Buffed” (any other name suggestions welcome). It’s been requested a few times for there to be info about this. The PvE list will continue to assume enemy buff of roughly 1.25-1.5x while super buffed will assume it’s 2x+, i.e. hell mode, high lvl MBQ and UC. I will make this clear in the tier list.

Tier list updates (in the change log thread) will be broken down into certain types:
- New Additions Update - new monsters being added
- Game Update (version X) - commentary and movements based on changes in a game update
- Movements Update - re-evaluation monsters and moving them up/down
- Tier Rebalancing Update - moving monsters up/down in bulk to maintain a balanced spread across the tiers (I aim for a bell curve)
