Need Help

no its not fair this random …

i dont like when i can get only 100% in a game by random…

every game must have a chance to get everything NOT by random

and not by clicking some stuff on the right time

You can (I think). Not all arkadions have been released yet, so whatever is in-game is part of that 100%. During beta testing, a few people reached 100%. I’m quite sure they could catch all of them in the wild (or get recipes for one) am I right?

I don’t know if it’s the same with released however. Sorry.

There is a chance to get everything but some will only come at certain points because they are called event monsters. Otherwise, you’ll be able to get the majority of everything

It can’t be easy to get everything in one swing. Gotta make it a challenge in order to keep people playing

It’s definitely possible to get all permanent arkadions without hoping for a good spin on a gold egg, though.

I hear event monsters may come back someday, after they are left. Is that true?

Eventually they will. It won’t happen immediately but I’m not a developer on the team

ahhh this sounds nice for me

cause i realy LOVE DIB realy realy… the only thing i hate was the egg wheel

and if this game has a chance to get everything i will play it not for mounth i will play it for years xDDD

I assure you it’s entirely possible x> I’m with you, Tutmuar; I’m aiming for 100% as well.

I’m having trouble getting 15 UNIQUE monsters so I can pvp. I have 15 in my party but are some not unique?

What’s your team?

I think aiming for 100% of all monsters is the wrong expectation.  IMO.  While I don’t play Pokemon on a DS, I have played other collecting games.  I played one for 3 years and only got 99% of the monsters by the end of those three years.  In fact, of the thousands of players of that game.  There were less than 10 players who had each and every monster.

There is an achievement in game to catch all the “core” monsters which is like the first 115 or so.  That’s entirely doable.  And you can certainly have a goal to catch as many as possible, but it would be a looooong term goal.  And yes, that’s what going to be awesome about this game just like my last favorite.  Probably as soon as you get close to that goal of 100%, they are going to release new monsters and you will drop back down.  I hope that won’t bum you out.  :)

I am like you Tutmuar in that I really wish I could get 100% and that’s what I always strive for in games.  But I’ve long since realized that getting 100% is a luxury.  Ever play Rage of Bahamut, Guardian Cross, Puzzle and Dragons and those type of games.  You’ll really be mad at those ones.  Even Pokemon games, I generally don’t get 100% anymore due to the timesink it takes.  Instead, I play the game because it’s enjoyable and because I get enough of a collector fix just playing the game and trying out new monsters.  Just like I did for DIB.  Sure, I would love the game even more if I could get 100%, but it’s still a great game and WELL worth 99 cents for easily 50+ hours of gameplay.  If playing the game to get 100% is your sole reason for the game, then you probably shouldn’t play it as you will just be disappointed or frustrated.  But if you want to just play a great game, give it a shot and it’ll be worth your time.

“There is a chance to get everything but some will only come at certain points because they are called event monsters. Otherwise, you’ll be able to get the majority of everything”

Ryan has said that these event monsters will always appear in the game to catch at a later time. The event only lets the people who complete the event get them before everyone else gets to.

As for collecting monsters, I think it’s good to get 100% completion in the Monsterpedia, but not necessarily have 100% of them in your party/bench. I aim for having all monsters with 8+ stars in my team (if that’s even possible - I hope so!)

I always aim for higher than what I know I can do to “trick” myself into thinking I have to meet a goal when my secret goal is actually something much less large. So when I check my progress, I see, “Oh, wow! I haven’t caught all available monsters, but I got all the dragons!” Ya know? So I’m completing a lot of my goals at once by setting my “ultimate” goal for 100% of everything.

Not sure if that makes sense. Maybe it’s something like reverse psychology, but… not.

Haha. That’s a good idea if it works for you. Though for some people it might demotivate them… “my ultimate goal is waaay too large and is overwhelming me, and so I’m just going to give up”.

U find this pear on the first place u start out insead of going up go down where u r between some rocks found Jim there and two other good ones

Gravelem92, there are threads devoted to telling you where each Ark is in the ‘Where’s That Monster’ subforum…

I hope you know hatchlings in dib are in the wild… Check out dib wiki - hatchlings if you dont beleive me.

Hatchlings in Hunter Island are catchable. You can check the “Where’s That Monster” subforum for locations! However, there are some arkadions (monsters) that are currently egg-exclusives, such as Bloodclaw, Charcalynx, and Stegospike.

EDIT: …just realized you replied to something from NOVEMBER…why…?
