That actually did help …
The thing that most Stego users need to realize is that with all the new OM’s, Stego has been put on a back burner because there’re so many counters to it. Unless you get EXTREMELY lucky with TU when your Stego comes into battle, chances are you’ll only get 1-2 stuns off before it dies, regardless (unless you’re the type of person to run the Stego/Char lineup, etc.). Stego can be OHKO by many different Arks at this point, so keeping it is only giving a free kill to your opponent.
I’ve never been a fan of Stego and I do see its allure, but the fact of the matter is that Stego is becoming more and more useless with every new OM.
Main reason stego will appear in my lineup is b/c it’s an equalizer against other abusers. I’m all for it getting banned/nerfed/whatever. I’m still facing way too many Kami/haster/stego teams.
This is my current line up. I have been tested and haven’t lost to non-stego/crazy BA yet.
It’s been less effective against cyber in the first 3 in the past several hours but still manageable.
I am pretty satisfied with this line up so that I still couldn’t find place for cyber, pls help.
Vortexor
Vegitiger
Scorpionix
Triphoon
Raioh (considering chopper bug here)
SS
MS
Moss
Kami
Halopard
Cryowyrm
Octoneer
Osiris
Destructor
Omega
Comment is highly appreciated.
Cyber swap with scorp? Helps vortexer and you have vegi there to metal slash anyways… As I’m typing wondering why i am helping one of the best players in the game to beat me!!!
I really like your lineup, its one of the strongest I’ve seen, but here are a bunch of things i think could be improved (mostly in the front if the lineup)
Triphoon vortexor cyber may work for you. Thats what i currently use and i have not lost a single battle yet. You can easily kill a vortexor that may try and use banish or army wind with triphoon or stasis with cyberwyrm. You could also stasis a stun skin ark so you can army wind without worrying about stun. If there is another cyberwyrm, that will probabbly stasis your cyber because it does not want to be put under stasis itself, or it will stasis vortexor, due to not wanting to be banished. Triphoon should finish off cyber in a few hits.
Also, i dont see the point in that raioh in front a shadowstalker. If shadowstalker scapegoats itself, you shouldn’t need extra stun unless there is a metal slasher. I would get rid of the raioh and move ss and ms to the back. That way you will know that you have killed their metal slashers if you did, and if you didn’t kill any you can assume that the next arkadion is one (its a pretty big chance) so you dont kill any of the three arks tht are out till minespider is detonated.
If you want to keep raioh, I’d move it aftr Halopard. That way if it is killed, cryo comes out an uses army. If its still alive, it uses haste then stun gift. Cryo uses army frost. And the other also uses an aoe ( or whatever attack it has)
Scorpionix is a big vulnerability in the front. Octoneer is a common ark in the front and it would destroy your first three. If I were you, I would just get rid of Scorpionix all together. Minespiders are most common in the back, and your octoneer should e good enough. Besides, you know enough about the game that losing three monsters to a minespider wont make you lose.
Vegitiger would work well in the back, due to most cryowyrms being concentrated in that area. I dont see why you had two metal slashers in the front. People are pretty afraid of usin metal in the front anyways due to octoneer, so you should rarely find metal in the front. Even i you do, triphoon vortexor and cyberwyrm should take care of them. Metal arks aren’t known for being tough (besides metallo and Barry)
@dragonking: Thx. Im just a person who have the most free time in the world
@Lyrux: Thx a ton! I tried your recommendation by moving SS and MS to after Osiris and put Raioh after Halopard.
After some testing, most of the time I find myself with kami halopard and Raioh as opponent usually try to kill moss first so I moved raioh to be between Cryo and Octo which works pretty well. However, with only triphoon vortexer and Cyber then moss and kami, I usually couldn’t deal with stunners in front sometimes because my vortexor get banished first then my kami get caught up with stunners and die pretty easily :(.
My sole purpose of putting both vegi and scorpionix up front is because almost 50% of players start with wind type arks my two earth arks last pretty long and can do huge damage before they die. if those two die taking three outs I’m ok with that
Will try fine tuning my line up thx both of you!
Maybe a raioh after your first three would work before kami (moving moss after kami) That way if you are banished, you can easily go through stunners. Just stun gift, aoe (it will kill the stun skin ark, but balance out the time units as if nothin happened because of stun skin. Then your other ark that was gifted can aoe, giving you the upper hand. That way your kami should always last longer.
Though pretty inactive lately, this is my latest line up.
Chopper bug
Vegitiger
Golgemios
Moss
Gigarock
Vortexor
Cyberwyrm
Triphoon
Kami
Halopard
Octoneer
Cryowyrm
Minespider
Destructor
Omega
From my testing, it’s pretty effective BUT very susceptible to the line up that starts with SS and stunners.
Note that I remove SS from my line up as it serves no purpose from my test battles.
Comments are highly appreciated.
No guardians at all huh? Bold but I think you may leave yourself open to a good strategy player. I like the lineup a lot but the only thing I might suggest would be swapping gigs for Osiris which keeps your ally earth going but also gives a bit of guardian-esque support there and gigs can be negated by any earth ark in at the right time or your sacrificing omega…
Heavy offensive team. I’m bored of facing wind trios in the starting three so I came up with this line up.
Caution: Very very susceptible to Octo in the first three, otherwise very strong
Guardiron
Gearwolf
Scorpionix
Triphoon
Vortexor
Cyberwyrm
SS
MS
Kami
Halopard
Cryowyrm
Octo
Vegi
Destructor
Omega
Enjoy
