I was doing the earth land in whales of treasure event he popped out of nowhere, tried to beat him with my team and ultimately lost. Im only rank 30 so should I wait for my tickets to refill and have a try at it again or just tap on “run”? I really need the three ingredients sold in the shop for ultra evolving my only gem legendary though.
just hit run. you get an extra 2 finns that you wouldn’t get otherwise for beating him.

I didn’t know you get 2 extra finns! How does this work for each of the two battles?
Stage 1:
3 battles = 6 finns
scavenger = X finns OR 7 battles = 14 finns
Stage 2:
3 battles = 6 finns
scavenger = X finns OR 7 battles = 14 finns
Stage 3:
10 battles = 30 finns
Master = 0 finns
Stage 4:
10 battles = 40 finns

You do 4 battles before he shows up. Then he gives you an extra 14 or so. Meaning you get 22 I believe.

Hmmm okay I’m pretty sure he appears after 3 fights so maybe that’s where the confusion is? I never noticed him giving extra finns but this event my finns total is a bit random because of the extra fights I’ve been doing from the water monsters that appear around the island every 15-20 minutes.
