Initial thoughts with it is even Arachnadiva is too fast to guarantee the effect. Need things to be REALLY slow. It’s going to take me a while to test in PvP properly because I don’t have the Pots. But I’ll do it anyway for science. And because I haven’t played competitively for a year or 2 so I don’t mind taking the L’s.

When you’ve experimented please let me know what kind of speed seems like the sweet spot. I said roughly 30% in my post above but it’s hard to gauge
I’m just writing the tier list review of this monster and I noticed something when taking another look… the “Hellish Shriek” move has infinite uses.
So besides FL with a low speed team, the combo potential could be something like having a team with high TU moves where you use them and then end up with this entering the battlefield and repeatedly pushing the enemies back until your monsters are closer to getting turns. It’s also quite a funny counter to the old stun lock because it would come in and get a turn in 30s then push back enemies until the stun lock is undone.
Note that it will be 68TU (at +9) and 60s push back so it’s not infinite or anything but kind of interesting. I am still doubtful anyone could actually build an effective, reliable combo that utilises this move apart from in the FL with a low speed team.
Also, could someone test if this is the only monster you have on the battlefield can you still use Hellish Shriek? If you can… accelerating this could mean you infinite push back the enemies. The ultimate BM.
Maybe good fifth spot stun absorber for 80%+ speed FLs against nyx so when nyx fermatta and you use all high TU moves you can push them back?
I’ve tried… At least on the SCB, it just dies too fast compared with the other mons they stick on the demo team. That would be hilariously broken if it worked, though.

I was thinking of ways to infinite lock, and i believe it is potentially possible with honghua + flower as the albuquerque move pushes only 10 seconds so you can skip with flower, push back 10 seconds and have flowers turn again. Idk this just sounds like it could work
That’s an interesting idea. I don’t think it’s quite perfect. Firstly, Honghua would need to be accelerated because 85TU is more than 60+10 from the push back. However, then she has 68TU and it actually needs to be exactly 70TU so it always puts her behind the enemies (in order for the shriek to work). It also requires all enemies to be getting their turn within 60s when Honghua gets her turn at the start of the loop so she gets placed behind them.
What’s cool about the combo is you will actually be hurting the enemies so if it did line up perfectly it would be a funny way to try and win a battle.
