Yeah it’s a soft counter I guess. There are ways to give rocks without protectors though. It would benefit RL more, but be damaging if it was used early on like in 5th. Be a nice blow to AP spam

actives -
Rend - targets one opponent and halves its
health. (50-70 Tu)
Impair - deals small damage and disables one of its targets moves for a single turn. (or 100 seconds to prevent skipping?) (100tu)
Bloodcrave.
Repent.
passives -
Pierceproof field - while this monster is on the field attacks which can normally negate hold ground and shield now cause non-piercing damage. this affects both allies and opponents.
Shield Entrance.
appearance - something with oversized claws!

Monster idea.
Name - Pendragon
Appearance - a tiny dragon with a pen as its body!
Moveset.
Scribble deals medium damage to all enemies and randomly marks one of them. (does not remove previous marks when used) (medium tu -100/120s)
Erase instantly kills a single marked monster- ignores hold ground/shield as well as revenge passives. this skill can also target allies. (medium tu 70 - 80s)
Bloodlust
Refill (3 uses) restores one allied monsters health to max and also marks it. (70TU)
SS - Instant Draw (1 use) - Deal critical damage to a marked opponent. (1TU).
Passives -
Mark Protection
Mightier Than The Sword - If an ally is wielding a weapon whilst this monster is on the field, this monsters defence is increased by 200%
Stats - should work well with Health and Attack in the mid-high 4000s. Defence should be pretty tanky. say 5200ish. Speed 75 - 85. (if Mythic add 1000 to stat suggestions)

Awesome! The moveset is very dragon-like too 
I think this one should have a pompous and majestic name. Something like “Imperial Scales” or “Cruel Reprisal”
