Metallodious rare farming still working?

Good afternoon for all,

I started farming rares pretty recently after finishing the game fair and square just like it was intended and without the knowledge that farming with a metallodious was possible using its escape ability.

Is this exploit still working? was debugged? what are the differences (besides the obvious painstalking normal farming and time consuming techniques) between farming with metallodious, or normal escaping or actually do the fighting?

I farmed already 3 hatchlings with normal escaping AND with fighting… but as soon as i put metallodious in my party they never show up.  Am i just unlucky? lol  This was put to the test for 12 hours of continuous working the same spots.  not jumping around.  so like this.  4 hours of normal fighting (1 hatchling), 4 hours of escaping (2 hatchlings), 4 hours of metallodious (0 hatchlings).

Any light on the subject is greatly appreciated.

Lol, don’t give up. You have it lucky, some people took weeks for them to get at least 1 starter/hatchling.
