So I should not worry about a high speed, stun immune, guaranteed kills, rank S monster, which is in the same rank as sobeking?

Jaguardian is dangerous. Almost anything with bloodfury + stun immunity is but itâs got a faster bloodfury!
Itâs obvious that Killerdog is himself a big malwing fan. Of course everything is easy to counter. So for KD logic the teams have to be poisoned all the time and you need to have always a stun converter. That makes your argument pretty clear why it is still the most used PvP monster. My guess is you are relying hard on him and you are not interested in any changes since it works out for you

Hes good. And i love mine. But i have to run him in combo with a DR shield revenge to let him last a turn.

One interesting thing is that malwing never slept my poisoned monsters but sobeking did, with many times.

In the very first thread discussing Malwing and Ankoudragon (which released at the same time) I was raving about how awesome Malwing was going to be. All the fuss was around how OP Ankoudragon looked. Then people got them and there was a huge thread saying how terrible Ankou was. It took a month or more before people started saying how strong Malwing was.
I think I mightâve been the first person to say Malwing was probably too powerful. That was back when it came out. However, since then weâve had many stun converter/immune monsters enter the game and I can see how tranquilizing entrance fits okay. Itâs super powerful and makes Malwing one of the best PvP monsters but itâs not actually overpowered.
Why is it some monsters are deemed âfragileâ while others are ridiculously good?!? It seriously doesnât make any sense.
The comment on how Delugazar dies easily is very valid because when people call Delugazar overpowered itâs to do with it being supported by give turns and protectors. Itâs easy to see there that by taking out Delugazar then it was the key component for making the section of the team âoverpoweredâ. However, itâs a silly statement to be throwing in or denying on random monsters when they have no hold ground, shield or high defence.
Ankou is trash. Absolutely trash. Even withthe speed boost, still trash.
Malwing took a long time to figure out because he was broken the first 3-4 months and banned from PvP lol.
Now he actually works and weâre actually allowed to use him so we can see how BS he is.
I agree, BB is a glass cannon. Thats why he isnt OP. He dies to a sneeze. So does jag. That makes them both killabale and balanced.
But lets get back to Malwing. Which has a double passive and a double SS that allows the double passive to be reused. I thought my post about the cost math of Tinker+Cyclo2.0 and Sweet/Thor made a lot of sense. And i havent seen anyone address the mathmatics of cost given Tinkers SS and Cyclos SS in 1, plus Sweets Passive and Thor/Blitz passive in 1.
This is getting ridiculous I made this thread to see how others felt on malwing and if and what any changes it could have not nerf just tweak so itâs not a instant win situation

I refrained from replying to the bit about extra cost given by secret skills. The thing is, secret skills arenât done by how much they add to the monster. Instead, itâs more like the final cost (with secret skill added) is the TRUE cost of the legendary. Thatâs why typically the 16 cost monsters which are considered S or better by the community are the most overpowered ones. The 16 cost monsters with situational secret skills or ones youâre not bothered about adding are some of the best 13 cost legendaries out there.
Back to Malwing⌠itâs currently one of the best PvP monsters but thatâs all. The double passive is super strong and itâs got a great moveset, especially the SS, but the slow speed, stun defences available and low defence stat keeps it in check. Maybe the combos need reeling in a bit but thatâs it.
Yeah itâs been kept out of PvP for quite a while, which might be why it gets so much hate too. However, dreamy entrance has always been incredibly powerful so the signs were there right from the beginning I think.
Malwingâs main problem is that some featured monsters can abuse it, but for other players who do not have those featured monsters, changing Malwingâs moveset may make it like a dead bird. Honestly, I have no clear idea how to properly adjust it.
I am posting because I saw some posts recommending to increase costs. I agree if light lion and jag get similar adjustments.

KD, i get what your saying. But malwing is not useless without his SS. Tranquil entrance is still a gamechanger, esp when it disproportionately affects the stun immune with the sleep.
The SS should cost more than +3 because its a double SS. Its a better version of exit olay combined with a better version of knock back next.

I wrote out a big post asking for the Devs to overhaul the cost system and allow for higher cost monsters. It would make things like this so easier to balance. I completely agree that Malwing and other monsters should be costed higher. Angelion gets used as a 13 cost monster most of the time, itâs a big flaw in the game I think.

This just ended up being one of those generic nerf threads which consisted of âdonât nerf my legend even if itâs OPâ and âi donât have it so nerf it so i can beat it all the timeâ.
All malwing needs is a small change. Not a death inducing nerf like what happened to motor.
If they removed one aspect of the double SS or one aspect of the double entrancr passive it would still have 3 great passive/extra moves which is way Fing more than most of the legends out there.
Being a oldest player of all, and you demand a change of not one but 2-3 legends !!

It is a good legend not like it is broken like malwing, it needs a very little support, sure itâs ss helps to make a kill but what youâre asking is like you lost to someone using Jag & lion users,
As youre the one who still using abyss nereida and gazer at end team, and lion counters them pretty effectively,
If you canât handle one or 2 monsters , then stop playing this game!!
