To be honest, the whole defence stat is misleading! The fact Slagtoise with 2340 defence takes less damage than Doomengine with 5235 defence is pretty confusing. I can see why they’d code it the way they have and why for a visual they’d show a bar on the stats page but it’s still quite funny.
Anyway I wrote this because actually Lucrayzor they changed the excessive force passive description a while back so it now reads:
“This monster’s attacks ignore Hold Ground and Shield. It also ignores the target monster’s defence.”
It’s only the shortened version of the description which leaves out the last sentence (as seen in Spectrophin’s “Union: Excessive”). Shortening the description to better fit the box does make sense. However, there are also some older versions of skill descriptions which say “Hold Ground and barriers” while the newer ones say “Hold Ground and Shield”, which is a tiny bit confusing with the inconsistency.
It’s actually not really a bug but a debatable design choice. The damage reduction is meant to make 1st form mythics tankier but it actually makes them too tanky
This probably won’t happen. This was a feature of HI that they removed for Neo(assumedly because it could kinda be abused for infinite diamonds(Ranking Points))
How bout just new bond quest in general. Maybe a gimmick or two to spice things up? Sticking the featured mon in the back while I hack away with the same old tried and true strat really isn’t offering much in the way of immersion lol
