Link Water the new link Fire?

Most people and newcomers always tended to go for link Fire,I mean it’s amazing

~High speed sweeping
~Good aggressive monsters
~Good amount of stun protection
~As I like to call it,it has its own Matriarch e.g Novemdomina
~Piercing and Poison etc.

With the request of link Fire Nerf we have seen new monsters that counter link fire

~Aoi
~Arcticlaws

It might lack good stun protection but it also has quite powerful monsters

~Christine
~Suikenshi
~Fiona
~Ankara
~Stealth supporter Fiona
~Recent Lilithia buff meaning she is a priority to kill, shields and stealth? :star_struck:

With these new monsters I begin to wonder, are we entering an area with Link water on top?

Storm is also quite scary with its high speed
Any feedback or comments on this will be appreciated
Hope to hear back

I love use link water in weirds rules, Christine is op btw I got recently Azuradios maybe I will try in next rule but I’m missing Gyo and that op stun absorbers sturgeon but imo is the most funny link to play , others are just kinda boring , credit to @MasterMarcoPISSOFFBM who always use link water, or at least when I meet him

Well i dont think water will become the new fire link fire

I mean there is monsters with alot of potential in water like arcticlaw sturgeon aoi etc

But the main diffrence is that most fire mons can work solo witch makes them really strong togheter

Wile water is more about synergy or abselute brute force with water mythics

Thats why alot of the link water teams you see is

Azu
Snowball
Azu fodder
Plume
Polaereon
Wraithcaptain
Cetska

Or idirations of this

Its all about controlling entrances

The additions of sturg and arctic has made it alot easier to brute force with water like link fire can

But you still need elements of controll as alot of water is either really slow or really high secs

It is two very diffrent playstyle at its core so they cant really replace each other
