Leveling Made Easy

Hey all, recently to try to give myself something new to do with this game, I was trying to make an 8 star or less team, which sort of turned into capturing an S rank of every monster in the game with less than 8 stars. Through that waste of time, I stumbled across a way that I believe might be the most efficient leveling tactic in the game. I had been using the biteschool method previously, and that part doesnt change.

A quick note about the biteschool method for people who are unfamiliar with it:

I wont go into where the location is, because a quick google search will allow you this information. The thing to understand is that when you k.o. a biteschool, the one to take its place will never spawn with less than 80 TU’s.

Previously I had been hasting a Raijin with Angelon to get Raijin’s TUs low enough to chain spark ko’ing all three active biteschools and allowing it to have TUs lower than the new biteschools that replace the ko’d ones. The only problem with this method is that you can only raise one arkadion at a time once you have the haster and the Raijin to level 99.

_ Enter Jabbit. _

Jabbit has a chain move like Raijin, but he has the advantage of having one of the lowest non-hasted TU aoe’s in the game (Actually its the lowest one that I can find in game, though a lower one might exist). How low you might ask? 70. This means that jabbit can ko a row of biteschools and always go again before the next group of enemies gets a turn, no bonus actions or set up required.

Be aware, Jabbit needs to be a VERY high level and you need an earth boosting ocarina (Terra Pyran or Plate Shifter) to guarantee a OHKO on the biteschools with one shot without any set up. Before he gets to the 90’s and set up is no longer required, you need to make sure he is partnered with an arkadion that can clear all 3 starting biteschools with a single move.In this case, have the lower level jabbit’s first move of the fight be no guard and then he can KO the biteschools no problem starting from a MUCH earlier level (bolster or charisma also works for lower level jabbits).

NOTE: You need to equip an ocarina that gives an earth boost to achieve a guaranteed KO 100% of the time. I use the Terra Pyran.

TL;DnR

Bite school power leveling using a very high level jabbit’s chain attack is the most efficient way I have found to level in this game. With a lower level jabbit, have him start off with a no guard, and have one of your other arks clear the first three biteschools. He will be able to kill the remaining biteschools with his chain jab without the fish ever getting a turn due to Jabbits low TU cost, though you need specific ocarinas to achieve this.

Interesting…I was bored enough to try this out.

I usually biteschool with the target Arkadian, a level 99 Raioh, and a level 99 Glazio.

The problem I had was that even a level 99 Jabbit would it miss the OHKO maybe 10% - 20% of the time.

Maybe I need a certain ocarina?
Ok, tried it with the Plate Shifter Ocarina…

Works great! Nice find.

Yes, you do need the earth ocarina to guarantee the ko. Forgot to mention that. I will update the OP. Thanks.
