I found this disgusting roadkill image of some dead cat with its organs falling out, named it kattmander, and posted in on the meme thread saying something like how exu could look at it and think it’s still not dead lol. Anyway the ban was totally justified . I would like to know how often the bottom 60% of legendaries get used in pvp tho
I once made a thread about a full Super Epic team. That was fun. It beat a lot of high level players but I won’t name them because I don’t want to cause drama
Don’t mistake what I’m saying, I know I have some Myths, but I don’t have enough to run myths from 1-13 and it be viable.
I am F2P so in the last 3 years I’ve only added 4 mythics Plume, Maeve, Carmilla and Soral. So when I face Vixen, Prixis, Chary, Nyx etc, I can feel my account getting outdated. Tbh I’ve relied on the same Mythics for years - Sakura, Y Ddraig, Focal, Suiken and a few others.
The haters won’t like this, but I think a lot of players have surpassed this account now and due to the powercreep new mythics seem to outshine the shop mythics/ standard pool myths which is mainly what I have.
I did clearly state that these tips are for players who have some Mythics themselves. I see players all the time with good collections and poor teambuilding.
I think you’re missing the fact I disavantaged myself for the meta, I understand not everyone can deal with the meta, that’s why I chose a fairly slow team, that would have a hard time against fast monsters like Chary, Prixis, Vixen etc. and still be caught by Nyx too.
Yeah, the tips are great. The team just isn’t a good fit for the guide when the focus is on beating mythic teams. To put it into perspective, I’ve ran more mythics than the first team you posted only once during ranked and I think most players would agree that I’ve been a pretty heavy mythic user for the past year or so.
All of the recent mythics I have still puts me ahead by a huge margin, but that distinction won’t be nearly as obvious for players who can run say 2-4 mythics in a team if they get lucky with the restriction list.
The point was that the team disadvantaged itself against the current meta. Also that the guide is for players who have some mythics, but not top to bottom. But I get your point. That’s why I showed a budget version. Tbf Persephia and Y Ddraig were rarely used
i think that the thing with meeting Mythic teams is that they can tend to be overconfident. i have a pretty sizable account now however i still often use unusual teams and try to stay away from the metas. i think that this gives me an advantage over these Mythic spam teams as i seem to have a pretty good record of winning against teams i have no right winning against.
all these new Mythics haven’t really caused me any problems. i genuinely haven’t been bothered by charybidia/nyx/prixis or vixenblade once.
i find that most of the mythics used are used because they either counter the meta or they are the meta. therefore when they come across something a little bit different- eg Stormloch, Doomengine, they don’t really see things as a threat and dont have a way to or worry about instantly deal with it.
i feel like the guide u made is missing one point and thats the ability to control the position of the battlefield. monsters like Lunactia and Onigeist are great for removing inactive monsters without necessarily having to kill them. using them to remove binded monsters is probably why charybidia has caused absolutely no harm to me.
PS- when it comes to non-mythic teams i tend to make sillier mistakes so often lose those ones instead of the ones against mythics XD
I’ll be honest I’m getting quite tired explaining this
The guide clearly states (in bold) this is for players with good accounts, including some mythics but aren’t stacked top to bottom - for example like Coltraz, Squinty etc. How is that not relevant?
The concepts and tips remain the same even if you ran a full legend account. Running some myths doesn’t take away from that.
I even disadvantaged myself by running something weak to the entire meta. Chary and Nyx.
Either take the tips or leave them. I don’t care anymore.
I’ve edited the guide. Now it makes no reference to any team at all. Just monster comparisons. If anyone disagrees with the tips. Feel free to write your own guides. Thanks all.
