Since new monsters can bypass holding ground shiva is getting pushed out the meta slowly.

Cresendo strike becomes too slow agnist these

My PvP team two seasons back had Polaboss in it and a high win rate. I even had a win streak of over 20 at one point. The monster order was Freezecobra, Polaboss, Crimseias… probably the best setting possible for Polaboss.
My main (and strongest) PvP team which is built around Lunartic also features Shivadragon with the OoO switch friend like I said above. In the last PvP season I had a win rate of 85%+ with this team. I’ll actually be bringing out a video in a few days with some footage of me using it. I think Shivadragon wasn’t such a key player as he could have been in these teams because I didn’t have him properly protected from stun but in about half the matches I got to use him as a sweeper who maybe up to 8 kills.
They definitely need to be built around and are never going to be the best sweeper in the team but the mixture of sweeping and support they offer is very strong.
P.S. Sorry if my tone is wrong in this post. Super tired as I write it because I just stayed up writing a guide! I’m trying to give you some solid numbers to work with.
I’m glad you agree.
With the prevelance of angelion and gyro and other sleep immune monsters, wouldn’t they easily get through that fl?
I have Cyclozar in the front line for killing Angelion. Gyomurai is a bit of a problem, I always find that hard to face. There are definitely some FLs out there which require playing the FL slightly differently to how you plan, but that’s the way with any FL you make.
Gyomurai speed makes it tricky to deal with especially with an auto protector in FL. That link slayerbane is a pain, a lot of times you’re better off forcing an overconfident Strike
Agreed that link slayerbane is a pain. It’s one or the other with how fast gyro is. Without the full Heath it still often does lethal damage.
In some ways I feel like link slayerbane all should have a time restriction from the start of battle. 200s or at least 100s. Maybe the sole intention was to have Gyomurai front lines with an auto-protect but it’s so effective at stopping you from attacking with any monsters faster than Gyomurai.
I agree, maybe not 200 seconds but a 100 sec restriction would allow some retaliation against such a powerful fl
I agree. 100sec restriction will be fair.
Think this should be 100 sec restriction since if theres absorber it has zero weaknesses
Like Gary said, just force an overconfident strike. Losing 1 mon is better than losing 2-3, maybe 4.
Restricting a restriction further doesn’t seem right. Especially when there are lavamane retribution teams that are faster and arguably more potent. Not saying that they need a nerf, but just making a point.
Not to mention SBA leaves you vulnerable to multiple entrances at the same time. Including everyone’s favourite, stun.
I’m assuming this would apply to prisma as well. But normally it comes in at the same speed with a shield after 100secs so this doesn’t really affect it.
If this does become a thing, then peng needs an endgame restriction. For example, SBA can’t be the first move it goes for or you can’t TT/GT with it on the field.
If Gyo is cheese then peng is extra cheese.
Anyway let’s not get off track…
Wise words from a wise man also yeah let’s take this back into topic
