OK I started playing Day 1 of this challenge. Have been through about 7-8 drafts but thus far have only drafted two protector four stars (no bloodcraves) one three star, four two stars, NINE one stars and EIGHT no stars. I’m being put against teams which have super epics and three epics… How is this determined? At least with eggs we know it’s chance, with the drafts we assumed people would get equal access to epics and super epic depending on which draft but it seems not to be the case! I have now given up progressing and am just waiting until the next draft hoping for a super epic or half decent epic. I really want the 120 level reward but doubt I’ll get there 
That seems very unlucky. I got my first SE yesterday, and most teams I come up against have one too. I think there’ve been 9 drafts so far (four on first day, then 6am, 2pm and 10pm UTC every day after).
I also have 3 epics (one a day) and a bunch of 3*s.
I think the legends will become available tonight or tomorrow. Usually there’s only ever one available per event but I did battle a few teams with two last event.
Last event I got a third SE, and two more epics on the final draft to end with 1 legend, 3 SE and 5-6 E (from memory).

I have one now and yes, they really do. The majority of teams are loaded with 0* and 1* sleep mons that you can still one hit at level 220.
To get one as your first or second epic in the event would easily help you through to 200 from the off.
OK maybe I have been through 8 drafts as I have 24 mons (2 * 4, 1 * 3, 4 * 2, 9 * 1, 8 * 0). Hopefully in twenty minutes I get a SE. I finished top 10 in the first tournament and on that one it seemed like the chances were more even with each draft having increasingly better monsters as days went by, but maybe that was just coincidence as the last couple of drafts in this tourney I didn’t get any epics (let alone legends or SEs). It’s not impossible to defeat teams of SE and epics with one, two, three star monsters but you can’t do it blindly and with such a limited selection so only option is to wait for more drafts.
What I love about this event is how I end devising new tactics that I never considered would be useful.
Last game I started with poison, which turned into death sentence/bloodthirst, which turned into Novabomb/megabomb and stun/timestrike.
This one I was almost forced down the sleep route, but has now become Protector Killer/Bloodcrave aided by getting Galvbane and Hadeberus (accelerate, throw, bloodcrave). Alongside a 4* protector and a sacrifice summoner, followed by Shino, with a twinkiller behind to take out the sleepers. It’s worked surprisingly well with four fairly routine wins to go from 246 to 266 (having stalled with a few losses before the draft).
Funnily enough three of those wins were against opponents with Titanheart and the same sacrifice summoner on the front line, with one of those also having a Galvbane. Looks like others have had the same idea.

went full stun timestrike this time around. got a super epic timestrike bloodcrave one on one and just drafted a 3rd super epic Blitzdragon… not really needed as I was on floor 295 already but still welcome 
how does the system work, why you have 3 SE while I´m still on my first and next draft is in 6 hours for me
I only one se and 2 epic but other have 4 epic and 1 SE fuck this im late drafting
I had the same problem in the last two Island challenges. this time around I’m more lucky… I think its all about luck tbh

I started as soon as the event opened this time. it seemed to have helped compared to the first two times. I’ve however always managed floor 300 so far
yeah it´s kinda sad that the legendary comes so late when most of the dedicated players have finished already.

Extreme I fought your team a few times, your dark buck was really annoying haha.
Every single time my final team ends up being a craver at front + stun and stunprotector. Always leads into a sleep bomb + dream hunt followed by healers and something that can last stand/duplicate.

Yeah i really got lucky with bane and the next draft gave me spino, winning went as fast as i can imagine, it also came to a point i was so stuck at 156, luck came out and now finished with the event
