@Dev_VKC a much better way to encourage creativity would be to get rid of the view enemy team feature entirely. Ever since that happened, there have been multiple players copying the exact 14-16 mons from my team, and I’m sure similar things have happened to other top players too.

i agree with this … enable it maybe only during sp and disable during rest…or disable it completely

Me too. I despise anything that reduces creativity. Hide the code, hide the teams! Wooooo!

Make a poll on here about it.

You are going to hate me with this comment, but I think that the limitation should go elsewhere, people with a certain access, can manage to form certain teams, good for them. In my case I’m not even close to creating a Link Fire being so OP… and I try to counter it somehow. I think the limitation and the power of the monsters should limit the game, nerf, correct abilities, etc. That everyone can use everything, I don’t see it bad.

What are you referring to here? The restriction list?

Not only the list restriction (could be a rule during PvP too), but also editing the monsters to be less oppressive. I prefer that they limit the game and therefore the users, not vice versa.

So remove the restriction list and make better balance changes and nerfs?

No, add more limitation and edit the monsters, we have more and more monsters and more options. My humble opinion =)

So more monsters on the restricted list?

Yes, accompanied by a review of monster power, let’s not limit the users, let’s improve the game.

I see. How are users limited?

I answer you with a question, if you answer it, I continue.

How many feet go in 100 meters

Lmfao. That was so funny. And it was a mile not a 100 meters! Just trying to understand what you mean that’s all. I’m not sure what you mean by the users are limited.

PS. What is the population of agrabah?

I did it to further complicate your answer, I wasn’t copying you

I sent you a PM

The only times I will GG someone if I win:

  1. It’s a legitimately good battle that was very close.
  2. I liked the uniqueness of their team
  3. To knock someone down a few pegs if they take themselves too seriously
  4. If I beat their lame meta team with something hilarious

Most of my GGs are losses, which is how it should be

@Raghnius I agree with some parts of your idea, I disagree with other parts.

In my opinion the game is suffering because of abusive strategies creating OP meta for most of mid/high rank tier players.

Let’s make examples:

  • Monsters like Suikenshi do not alter the meta, they become a problem if you accompany them with AP lock.
  • Monsters like Sakuralisk are plain dangerous for the meta, increase RNG in PvP matches and can lead to having the stronger player losing to a weaker one.
  • Abusing entrance monsters is dangerous for the meta, this will often result in locks, heavy disruption, and in case of tranquilizing entrance even RNG involved.

So, I know is crazy to say that but, I would really like a game where who deserves to win get to win, not seeing crazy sh*t like AS Poseidon setup, Maeve setup, Jackolene entrance abuse, or heavy stun.

So yeah some strategies are indeed oppressive.
But bring all the players on the same level for the sake of “everyone having same chances” makes no sense.

So I’d like a PvP more based on brute force with some strategy involved, not a show of what is more broken.

I get the viewpoint you’re saying here, but even if I’m not directly affected most of all then why is it so bad me giving an opinion on it? From my side it feels like I say something like “I don’t feel like this is a good solution… I don’t feel the issue you think is there is actually the true issue… here are my suggestions” and what I get back is “this issue doesn’t concern you” and other defensive statements.

Let me make the points clear here…
You wrote:

  1. Removing friend code would improve creativity
  2. People don’t like getting seen to lose
  3. It would stop the culture of being annoying to people when beating them

My reply:

  1. I doubted this. When you held fast I asked for some reasoning, but you ignored it.
  2. I said this was more of a personal problem for people. I actually think it’s not healthy to encourage hiding for this reason, both creating a worse culture and probably some more extreme cases. We should really be encouraging the idea that it’s fine to lose and when trying out things you should expect to do poorly.
  3. I also put this on the player, but I get we have kids here and it’s good to do what we can to help improve PvP culture. I think moderators should be involved in this.

Does writing it like this make it sound better?

A few other random things…
a) You strongly believe there’s a lot of friend code memorising. Well, do you not reckon there’ll be just as many people memorising people’s teams so they can identify the people who hide their friend code? In fact, people will be sharing screenshots of your team all the time, starting a witch hunt of “who is this person?”. If you’re doing PvP lots then it’ll be easily recognised. So I’m not convinced it solves this problem. It might even encourage more people to copy this team they see shared in the community lots!
b) Hiding friend code AND name will almost undoubtedly give a competitive advantage in PvP, which is a negative thing for anyone who doesn’t want to do all that (oh look, it affects me :stuck_out_tongue: ).
c) Cheaters/BMers would be incredibly difficult to report with hidden friend code and regularly changing name.

Don’t get me wrong, I’m not trying to poo all over your idea. I just think it has some problems and doesn’t necessarily tackle what you wanted to. You said yourself that you see no negatives about it and think it won’t affect me (KD), so here are a bunch of extra things to consider about that.

I know you didn’t want to get into it more deeply, sorry for making another post. I came back here and got too tempted when I saw your post which I quoted at the top of this.

Maybe it was not understood, but part of my idea would be that the more monsters you have, you should be able to create something different and be able to win over those who do not have your options.

People are limited to what you mention, because they don’t have all the monsters to use, so they use what they have available. What you mention are relatively cheap setups, because that’s what you can get your hands on. A person with your account is clearly not going to use “AS Poseidon setup” I don’t know if I’m getting it. They use it to get a higher win %, because it’s cheap and broken lol

U basically want Myth team controlling the meta ,

This is what give a chance to f2p players in this game , myth are already a problem, imagine if we hadn’t those “cheap” things to face it(Still hard to beat a myth team)
