This is unnecessary to write here, could’ve DMed vkc instead. I don’t see it as BM. If creating 4 rocks and doing a long setup with the intention to win (not trying to make the battle last forever) is BM then idk, all strats with good intentions should be legit even if it takes long time to setup. The only problem is before rock lock nothing allowed such long setups. You could do the exact same thing with kuraokami, but how many yukis would you actually need for just kuraokami and yukis to clear a whole team? 100? 500? 1000?

So to conclude: Rocklock is worse than geomotor when bronzeshells were stunable. The problem is rocklock and their ability to not kill themselves whatsoever. Fixing this? Maybe make tainted rockoid, which is the rockoid you can give to your opponents, never can be summoned to yourself but only from one player to the opposing player. Then give them some way to kill themselves, for example dying after 200 seconds, or even polymorphism which turns them into the rockoid. These are just random ideas

Yes, I understand. Ideally, every monster or token your opponent gives you has a way to remove itself.

Honestly if i let myself get in a situation where i have 4 rocks and my opponent is sumonning pods to ensure victory because they don’t know what my team looks like I just take the L and leave. Just accept that you’re checkmate :rofl:

That rigth Kuraokami will actually take so much time since they can get stun and they have low speed. Just like you said it rock lock itself the problem but they rather blaming the guys abusing it the most I guess.

What about solving the problem of kana ?? Her passive is soo broken , also why not making neo more balanced by lowering cyberythe speed , maybe duel will only send monsters yo 300 tu with no overwtach because that combo , kana cyber, ap looks so broken , oh wait thats suits you well since you use it !!! You ask just for things thats counter you

I fundamentally disagree with nerfing of nauticruiser,
The mons will become dw without the pods.
Also i am pretty sure what @ToNdEuSEnCaRtOn does in a fight isnt bm. A person with bm purposefully waste time on clock by prolonging it.
If you dont want to play the long match at any time you can press run button but you dont, because you still think you can win. So you cant fault him for doing what he does And that is maximising odds of winning match.
Just because restrict list is allowing certain mons to shine doesnt mean it will be always the case, be patient and wait for new one if you are facing trouble in current one. Dont start unnecessarily create a nerf thread for mons …

Maybe just make the Run button able to be used on your opponents turns as well so people dont get locked into these situations where they don’t get turns and can’t escape aside from restartig tb

Oh, I misunderstood. From what I was told, I thought people were saying he put them in rocklock then summoned Nautipods until they quit the battle. I.e. No intention to kill their monsters and risk losing, simply doing it until they leave. I also thought he was doing it at the end when all they had left was rocks / Yang to waste their time if they wanted the loss for the 5 daily games.

@ToNdEuSEnCaRtOn Sorry, doesn’t sound like what you’re doing is bad. However, it’s definitely not a fun strategy that should be promoted… the Devs should try and stop it from being possible. I.e. Like others have said here, any tokens created to disrupt the opponent should be possible to sacrifice in some way.

The reason why people complain about tondo is not because he bms
Its because in his entire team, he only has 1 true raw killing unit and its that nauticaser. So because of that, it often takes him a long time setting it (spamming call supply) and even longer killing monsters
matches with that team often takes 20-30 minutes. maybe even longer

There are so many common counters to rock lock, you should just try putting a few into your team in the same way you put counters to stun in your team.

On a sidenote the reason sleep works so well right now is because no one is running counters to sleep really

Okay well @ToNdEuSEnCaRtOn at some point it’s taking the piss. I mean, matches like that must be horrible for you too… there’s only so many hours in the day. Probably best you switch strategy or you get a good grasp of how many you need to create and don’t go overboard. Also, I know if that were me I’d be apologising lots to anyone who got wound up by the team. People’s time matters, and you’re disrespecting that… I don’t think that’s disputable.
