I just got slaughtered by one of the coolest teams I've come across. Care to share some of your PvP stories? (Part 3)

happy cake day @Gentle

@LightGM1 (I think this is the right one)
I was playing as OcusPocus (saw Harry Potter yesterday :joy:)
Wow dude, I’m proud to say I’m the one who ā€œalmostā€ took your incredible 33 WS!!
And ā€œalmostā€ cause I lost connection there. There is no way you were getting out of that situation
I’m traveling between two towns. I got to reconnect the first time but it was impossible in the second one.

Great game dude

🤬 😈 The BM report thread - #279 by comoko :skull::skull:

You guys never have ā€œWi-Fi issuesā€ when winning, it magically occurs when you stand no chance in the game.

Well, it happens so often that I think devs have actually included it as RNG too hahaha.
I hope some day we get a better way to reconnect to the server.

Tricer and liera combo is dumb, needs a way to counter it other than Bastia. Either make it so the DSA is an active move that can’t be removed when used instead of an entry passive, or make it the same as every other DS, where if you kill tricer it won’t trigger (this makes him far worse for pve) either way, it’s unavoidable, since liera can sub in and out in 10 sec or less

Its like Moku or peng kinda, but both being passives its 99.9% guaranteed it will pull off the same as them. I would be fine with just adding unmovable to the DSA passive

Moku peng can get messed up by camo, KB, not having enough enemies with kills, etc, this ignores all that. Make it gravity field and I’d be okay with it so you can use liera once but not twice more or less instantly

Pullback, retreat, conversion moves all counter it too. I know it’s very strong and probably will get nerfed, but endgames have been all out aggression for so long, I actually like the fact it shifts the endgame meta to be a bit more defensive

all the reason in the world, but you have to think in general, tricera have given it for free in 2 rankings if I’m not mistaken and this is great for new ones because they can get rid of 4 super improved monsters with it and well. currently leira is limited in the list precisely because of this combo

This arguement feels pretty much the same as ā€œjust use more stun protectionā€ in regards to the og stunlock issue. All they have to do is kill the backstab/conversion teammate and you’re back to square one losing 4 without any recourse. I’m not against new endgames, or shaking up the meta, this just is worse to play against imo. They have control over when everything dies, along with their own follow up entries after it goes off

Don’t worry I am already Made this thread 1 month agošŸ˜‚

He did it on purpose, idk why Dev not punish him :joy:

It may do that, but it also encourages tricertalon users to be more aggressive in the first half of the game so that they can kill enough monsters to make an additional four kills a finishing move. The only condition on that is they just need to make sure their opponent isn’t left with so much control they’ll push further past tricertalon before the combo activates/finishes. I would point out that’s fairly similar to a lot of poison endgames. Also there’s often not enough time to pullback your own mons after the death sentence because leira enters so fast.

When using the combo during the special rule with kuraokami and kaerukenshi to buy time for the entrance, I’ve found the best way to counter tricertalon is to kill leira after the first entrance and have enough aggression to kill enough of the mons that are after the combo before the death sentence goes off. Either way, both of these soft counters require that you aren’t so far back in your team that a comeback is impossible once everything dies.

Yeah I understand. I know you will, but I hope others will try to counter before flooding the forum with nerf ideas. I hope they don’t completely kill it. As I said, I like that it requires players to use a support monster or two in the endgame.

I would maybe change Leira’s nereida move to Solo and the same for Tricerlaton’s send back. That way although Leira can speed up the process, it can’t be abused multiple times as easily.

There is a lot of ways to look at potential fixes, but like duck was saying, it slots really well into generic ā€œkill fastā€ teams, and it’s really pretty hard to do much before leira enters and you’ve got 100tu to try to make something happen and you lose the 4 on the field. Not including if they ally sub liera or mermaid hex to stop you from doing that since liera is so fast
